Lakeview Pines is a new construction community by Drees Homes with 37 single-family homes surrounded by wooded greenspace in Medina, Ohio (Montville Township).
This subdivision is located off the south side of Ridgewood Rd, 0.2 miles west of the terminus of Windfall Rd, and comprises the streets of Grayson Dr and Knob Oak Dr.
Homes are being constructed exclusively by Drees Homes.
Drees is offering ten customizable ranch and two-story floorplans that range from 1,773-3,200 square feet (excluding optional finished basements) with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.
Inside, homes may feature LVP flooring, front entry foyers, mud halls, flex rooms (formal dining, playroom or office), and fireplaced great rooms that are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, a center island with breakfast bar, tile backsplash, pantry, dinette area, and even sunrooms. First or second floor laundry rooms. First or second floor owner’s suites (optional tray ceilings) include walk-in closets and ensuite bathrooms with tiled walk-in super showers. Second floors may include lofts or bonus rooms. Optional finished lower levels may have rec rooms, theatre rooms, bars, and/or exercise rooms. Front-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Homes are serviced with public water and sewer.
Backyards feature patios and/or covered living spaces with fireplaces or fire pits.
Cleared lots measure approximately 70′ wide and are sized from 0.27 to 0.55 acres.
Homes are surrounded by 24.5 acres of HOA-owned forested greenspace, offering a wooded backdrop for privacy and lush views.
Several small streams meander through the greenspace. Stream adjacent lots may have riparian setbacks that affect the building envelope.
The entrance to Knob Oak Dr is ornamented by a large landscape bed with a stacked-stone signage wall.
Grayson Dr has two permanent cul-de-sacs.
With no connection to another development, traffic is limited to residents and their guests.
This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated Highland Local School District.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Lakeview Pines are approximately $500 annually.
To the southeast is the subdivision of Windfall Estates, and to the west is Montville Lakes.

The subdivision of Lakeview Pines is located in southeast Medina, Ohio (Montville Township), off the south side of Ridgewood Rd, just 0.2 miles west of the terminus of Windfall Rd.
Highways are accessible in 5 min to I-71, 7 min to I-271, 16 min to I-77, and 20 min to I-80/Turnpike. While the proximity to I-71 is convenient, it is only about 300 feet from the west side of the subdivision. Thus, the community is subjected to interstate traffic noise.
Medina’s historic square is 12 min away and its commercial district with restaurants, grocery, drug stores, banking, and shops including Target, Walmart, Staples, Home Depot, Hobby Lobby, Kohl’s, Marshalls and more is just a 15 min drive.
Summit Mall and shopping center is 17 min away.
Local outdoor recreation amenities are plentiful! It’s 5 min to Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park with green space, two miles of trails, a large playground, fishing pond, and a spacious fenced dog run. You’re 6 min to Oenslager Nature Center at Alderfer-Chatfield Wildlife Sanctuary with five trails totaling close to three miles. Lake Medina is only 7 min away for hiking, fishing, canoeing, and cross-country skiing. The 150-acre Granger Wetlands Wildlife Sanctuary is an 11 min drive. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is 17 min away with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges.
If you’re a golfer, there are a number of golf courses accessible in 20 minutes or less including Hinckley Hills, Ironwood, Pine Hills, Pine Valley, Pleasant Valley, Rawiga Golf Club, and Ridge Top.
If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 9 min to The Sharon Golf Club, 10 min to Fox Meadow Country Club, 14 min to Weymouth Country Club, and 19 min to St. Bernard Golf Club.
Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 25 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
