Dun Roven Farm is a single-street community of 21 homes in northeast Medina, Ohio (Granger Township) with 2+ acre lots. Located 0.4 miles west of State Rd off the south side of Remsen Rd, this subdivision comprises Woodling Way and two homes on Remsen Rd (house numbers 850 & 926).
Fun fact: This development and its street are named for the farmstead and its once-renowned Appaloosa horse farm at 926 Remsen Rd, which was previously owned by Betty and Eugene Richard “Gene” Woodling, who played in the major leagues for 20 years (including the Cleveland Indians) and famously helped the Yankees win five consecutive World Series championships.
These homes were constructed between 1991-1997, with the most recent homes built in 2016 and 2017.

Dun Roven Farm subdivision is in northeast Medina, Ohio (Granger Township) 0.4 miles west of State Rd, off the south side of Remsen Rd, near the border of Bath and Hinckley.
Highways are accessible in 4 min to I-271, 10 min to I-77 and I-71, and 15 min to I-80/Turnpike. While the proximity to I-271 is convenient (roughly 0.5 miles north), it may subject the community to interstate traffic noise.
Summit Mall and shopping center is only 15 min away. Anchored by Dillard’s and Macy’s, it boasts over 125 of your favorite retailers like Apple, J. Crew, Gap, and Vera Bradley as well as the restaurants you crave like First Watch, P.F. Changs and Bravo. In addition, you’ll find an abundance of shopping and dining options nearby like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s, Target, Lowe’s, and Home Depot as well as Winking Lizard Peninsula, Bomba Taco, Michael Angelo’s Winery, Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, and more.
Local outdoor recreation amenities are plentiful! Just 3 min away is Allardale Park with hiking and equestrian trails, a picnic shelter and indoor lodge. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is only a 5 min drive with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. Bath Nature Preserve is a 12 min drive with hiking and equestrian trails, two ponds for catch-and-release fishing, sled riding, and cross country skiing. Richfield Heritage Preserve is 15 min away, offering 336 wooded acres with hiking trails that include a portion of the Buckeye Trail, winding streams, two lakes for fishing and non-motorized watersports, and a horse barn with five miles of bridle trails. Fifteen min away is the 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
If you’re a golfer, there are a number of golf courses accessible in 20 minutes or less including Hinckley Hills, Ironwood, Briarwood, Bunker Hill, Seneca, and Sleepy Hollow. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re just 10 min to St. Bernard Golf Club.
Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 22 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
