About Woodhaven
Woodhaven (also called Woodhaven Estates) is a single-street community of roughly 23 custom-built homes with 2+ acre lots in northeast Medina, Ohio (Granger Township) located off the south side of Ledge Rd, 0.3 miles east of Stony Hill Rd, comprising the cul-de-sac street of Woodhaven Dr and one home on Ledge Rd (house number 1964).
Woodhaven homes were built from 1988-1997 and mainly range from 3,000-5,200 square feet with 4-6 bedrooms and 3.5-5.5 bathrooms.
Inside, homes feature hardwood or LVP flooring, two-story foyers with curved or turned staircases, laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, formal living rooms and/or private dens, and fireplaced great rooms with vaulted ceilings and floor-to-ceiling windows that open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, center island, breakfast bars, a walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Owner’s suites include walk-in closets and bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels are complete with media rooms, bars, and exercise rooms.
Homes have well water and septic systems.
Attached side-entry garages accommodate 3 cars. Some homes also have detached garages for additional parking.
Backyards extend living outdoors with maintenance-free decks and/or patios and firepits.
Homesites are approximately 200′ wide and range from 2.2 to 7.8 acres. Some are double lots.
The landscape is mainly flat with some very gentle slopes, ideal for lawn games, playsets, gardens and pools.
Lots include cleared and lightly treed parcels for panoramic country views, and partially to completely wooded lots offering the ultimate in privacy. The southern half of the street has the most heavily wooded properties.
The entrance to Woodhaven Dr has a landscaped divided median with signage.
As with the majority of Medina subdivisions, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
Woodhaven Dr ends in a permanent cul-de-sac.
With no connection to another subdivision, traffic is limited to residents and their guests.
Post is conveniently delivered to mailboxes at the end of each driveway.
This neighborhood is serviced by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Woodhaven.

Location & Nearby Amenities
The subdivision of Woodhaven (aka Woodhaven Estates) is in northeast Medina, Ohio (Granger Township) located off the south side of Ledge Rd, 0.3 miles east of Stony Hill Rd.
Highways are accessible in 4 min to I-271, 5 min to I-71, 14 min to I-77, and 15 min to I-80/Turnpike. While the proximity to highways is convenient, the south end of the community is 0.6 miles from I-271. Thus, the community may be subjected to interstate traffic noise.
Summit Mall and shopping center is only 17 min away. Anchored by Dillard’s and Macy’s, it boasts over 125 of your favorite retailers like Apple, J. Crew, Gap, and Vera Bradley as well as the restaurants you crave like First Watch, P.F. Changs and Bravo. In addition, you’ll find an abundance of shopping and dining options nearby like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s, Target, Lowe’s, and Home Depot as well as Winking Lizard Peninsula, Bomba Taco, Michael Angelo’s Winery, Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, and more.
Local outdoor recreation amenities are plentiful! The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is only 6 min away with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. The 150-acre Granger Wetlands Wildlife Sanctuary is just a 6 min drive. Just 7 min away is Allardale Park with hiking and equestrian trails, a picnic shelter and indoor lodge. Ten min away is Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park with family-friendly green space, two miles of trails, a large playground, fishing pond, and a spacious fenced dog run.
Private pilots are 10 min from Medina Municipal Airport.
If you’re a golfer, there are a number of golf courses accessible in 20 minutes or less including Hinckley Hills, Pleasant Valley, Ironwood, Briarwood, Bunker Hill, Seneca, and Sleepy Hollow. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 9 min to Weymouth Country Club.
Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 20 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
