About Deerfield Farms in Medina
Deerfield Farms is a lovely community of 70 single-family homes with abutting parkland in central Medina Township, Ohio. The subdivision is located off the south side of Fenn Rd, 0.4 miles west of Huffman Road, and encompasses the streets of Deer Lake Dr, Brentwood Trl and Twin Fawn Ct.

These homes were constructed in three phases from 1995-2024 by builders including Jacob Homes of Medina, Landmark Homes, and Drees Homes.
Deerfield Farms ranch and two-story homes range from 2,100-5,800 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5+ bathrooms.
Being that homes were constructed over nearly 30 years by different builders, designs and features vary. Common features include hardwood flooring, laundry rooms with cabinets, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens. Great rooms (some are two-story) with fireplaces are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, center island, breakfast bar seating, pantry, and dinette area. Spacious owner’s suites (some first-floor) include walk-in closets and bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes. Finished lower levels (some have daylight windows or are coveted walkouts!) are complete with media rooms, bars, workshops and/or exercise rooms.
Attached front or side-entry garages accommodate 2-4 cars.
Residences are serviced by public water and sewer.
Backyards feature custom patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, pergolas, and fire pits.
Homesites offer approximately 100′ frontage and range from 0.47 to 1.67 acres.
Most lots have treed or partially to heavily wooded backyards for privacy.
Ten homes surround a large pond located between the westward curve of Deer Lake Dr and the north side of Brentwood Trl, providing serene views and private water access for paddlesports.

The southwest end of this development abuts densely forested parkland (green section on above map) for added seclusion and endless views of nature. The Medina Marsh parkland consists of 126 acres of wetlands with a half-mile mowed trail that loops through open grassland with a 0.85-acre pond. The park entrance is just west on Fenn Rd, at the front of the Rivendale cluster community. Directly south of Medina Marsh is parkland belonging to Huffman/Cunningham Park, which extends several hundred acres.
The entrance street of Deer Lake Dr is flanked on the right by a terracotta-colored brick signage wall with lush landscaping. Groupings of mature evergreens on each side of the street provide privacy from the main road.
Deer Lake Dr and Twin Fawn Ct have cul-de-sacs. Brentwood Trl is currently a dead-end but could be extended with future development opportunities.
Like most neighborhood streets in Medina, there are no curbs and sidewalks.
Post is conveniently delivered to mailboxes at the end of each driveway. All mailboxes are the same style, bringing continuity to the streetscape.
The neighborhood is served by the highly-rated Medina City School District.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Deerfield Farms are approximately $100 annually.
The northwest end of this community borders Rivendale cluster homes. The south end of the subdivision abuts Whispering Woods, and is connected by an emergency drive off Deer Lake Dr.
