About Meadow View
Meadow View, also written as Meadowview, is a community of fourteen custom-built homes in eastern Medina, Ohio (Sharon Township). This development is located off the north side of Ridgewood Rd, 0.3 miles west of Beach Rd, comprising the streets of View Point Dr and High Meadow Ct.
Homes were constructed from 2004-2016 by Gatliff Custom Builders and Patrick Builders (Patrick Daugherty).
Meadow View homes mainly range from 3,400-5,400 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 3-4.5 bathrooms.
Inside, homes feature hardwood flooring, two-story foyers with turned staircases, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, private dens with built-ins, large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, and second-floor lofts or bonus rooms. Two-story or vaulted great rooms with fireplaces are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, center island, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, dinette area and sun or hearth room. Trayed ceiling owner’s suites include walk-in closets and bathrooms with custom tiled walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) are complete with media rooms, bars, and exercise rooms. Side-entry garages accommode 3-4 cars.
Homes have well water and septic systems.
Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, and fireplaces or fire pits.
Meadow View homesites are sized from 2.0 to 3.3 acres. There is also one home on a double lot measuring 8.2 acres.
Lots are available as cleared, lightly treed or partially wooded.
A tributary stream of Wolf Creek meanders across the northwest corner of High Meadow Ct, offering scenic rolling topography.
The entrance to View Point Dr is flanked by landscaped beds with garden stones and stacked stone pillared signage.
High Meadow Ct ends in a permanent cul-de-sac. The north end of the View Point Dr cul-de-sac abuts a large residential parcel, which could be extended with future development opportunities.
As with the majority of Medina streets, Meadow View has no curbs or sidewalks.
With homes in clear view from the street, the development has an open feel to it.
NOTE: This community lies approximately 1,600 feet south of a runway at Medina County Airport. As a result, homes may experience frequent noise disturbances from aircraft take-offs and landings.
This neighborhood is serviced by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Meadow View are approximately $200 annually.

Local outdoor recreation amenities are plentiful! You’re just 4 min to Oenslager Nature Center at Alderfer-Chatfield Wildlife Sanctuary with five trails totaling close to three miles. It’s 7 min to Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park with green space, two miles of trails, a large playground, fishing pond, and a spacious fenced dog run. The 150-acre Granger Wetlands Wildlife Sanctuary is a 9 min drive. Lake Medina is 12 min for hiking, fishing, canoeing, and cross-country skiing. Allardale Park is 14 min away with hiking and equestrian trails, a picnic shelter and indoor lodge. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is 15 min away with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March.
If you’re a golfer, there are a number of golf courses accessible in 20 minutes or less including Hinckley Hills, Ironwood, Pine Hills, Pine Valley, Pleasant Valley, Rawiga Golf Club, and Ridge Top. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 6 min to The Sharon Golf Club, 11 min to Fox Meadow Country Club, 14 min to Weymouth Country Club, and 20 min to St. Bernard Golf Club.
Private pilots will appreciate the 4 min drive to Medina Municipal Airport.
Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 25 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
