About Champion Creek
Champion Creek, aka Champion Creek Farms, is a prestigious community of roughly 52 single-family luxury homes in Medina Ohio (Montville Township). Homes were custom-built from 1989-2005, with the most recent home constructed in 2019.
Homes include two-story and ranch styles ranging from 3,600-7,900 square feet with 3-6 bedrooms and 3-6.5+ bathrooms.
Facades include styles of stately full brick (some boast a full brick surround!), combinations of stone/brick & cedar, Tudor, Queen Anne, and even an authentic reproduction of the Parson Joseph Capen House in Topsfield, Mass.
Inside these exquisite homes feature hardwood flooring, two-story foyers with curved or turned staircases, multiple fireplaces, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, formal living rooms and/or private dens, large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, and second-floor bonus rooms. Great rooms (some are two-story) with fireplaces are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, top-of-the-line appliances, and dinette area/morning room, and even sunrooms or screened porches. Spacious owner’s suites (some first-floor) include vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets, and bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, and dual sinks/vanities. Finished lower levels (many are coveted walkouts!) are complete with media rooms, billiard areas, kitchens or kitchenettes, bars, and exercise rooms. Attached side-entry garages accommodate 3-4 cars, some with circular driveways.
Homes have public water and sewer.
Professionally designed backyards feature lush landscaping, custom patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, pergolas or gazebos, and fireplaces or fire pits. Many homes also have pools.
The first home built in this community occupies 19 wooded acres. The surrounding homesites are sized from 1.02 to 5.3 acres with partially wooded, fully wooded, or cleared lots.
There are streams that run through the development, offering rocky ravined views and rolling topography.
Six homes along Champion Creek Blvd enjoy serene water views of large shared ponds.
There is one entrance from E Smith Rd via Champion Creek Blvd. It is flanked on either side by landscaped beds, mature trees, acorn-style streetlights, and white crossbuck fencing that continues along the front of the community. The entrance is a true boulevard with a series of elongated landscaped medians in the center of the street.
In addition to the main/entrance street of Champion Creek Blvd, this development also encompasses Clay Mountain Dr. The west end of Clay Mountain Dr has a landscaped cul-de-sac, which abuts forested greenspace owned by the neighboring development’s HOA; its east side is currently a dead end with potential for future development.
As with many neighborhood streets in Medina, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
While the utility lines for this community are all underground, there are wooden pole transmission lines that cross the front of the community for those with sensitivities or concerns about visual encumbrance.
This neighborhood is serviced by the highly-rated Medina City School District.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Champion Creek are approximately $375 annually.

In addition, you’ll find an abundance of shopping and dining options nearby like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s, Target, Lowe’s, and Home Depot as well as Winking Lizard Peninsula, Bomba Taco, Michael Angelo’s Winery, Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, and more.
Local outdoor recreation amenities are plentiful! Right across the street on E Smith Rd is the 105-acre Chandler Wildlife Sanctuary, a currently undeveloped parcel owned by Medina County Park District. Austin Badger Park is 4 min away, which offers outdoor fitness stations, first-class mountain bike trails with ramps and biking accouterments, a coffee shop with mountain bike and snowshoe rental, and miles of paved trails that extend into two adjoining nature preserves. It’s 8 min to Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park with green space, two miles of trails, a large playground, fishing pond, and a spacious fenced dog run. Lake Medina is 10 min away for hiking, fishing, canoeing, and cross-country skiing. Fred Greenwood Park, with a large pavilion, walking trail, playground, and splash pad is an 11 min drive.
There are numerous golf courses accessible in 20 minutes or less including Bunker Hill, Loyal Oak, Pine Valley, Pleasant Valley, Rawiga Golf Club, Ridge Top, and Shale Creek.
