Maplewood Farms is a community of custom-built single-family luxury homes with 2-acre lots in Medina, Ohio (Montville Township). This development is located off the west side of Wooster Pike, a half-mile north of Chippewa Rd, and comprises the streets of Maplewood Farm Dr and Secrest Cir.
Homes were built by Modern Home Concepts and Landmark Homes between 2005-2018.
Homes include ranch, cape cod, and colonial styles ranging from 3,200-5,800 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-5.5 bathrooms.
Inside, homes feature hardwood flooring, open staircases with wrought iron balusters, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings and/or millwork, formal living rooms and/or private dens with built-ins, large laundry rooms with utility tubs, and second-floor lofts or bonus rooms. Two-story or vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and large windows are open to kitchens with granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, center island, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dinette area or morning room. Owner’s suites include trayed or vaulted ceilings, sitting areas, walk-in closets, and bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels are complete with 9′ ceilings, media rooms, billiard areas, bars, and exercise rooms. Attached side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Homes have well water and septic systems.
Homesites in Maplewood Farms are approximately 175′ wide x 500′ deep and range from 2.0 to 2.94 acres.
Roughly half of the lots are treed; the rest are cleared, but back to neighboring parcels with a treeline or woods.
Backyards feature custom patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, and fireplaces or fire pits.
The entrance street of Maplewood Farm Dr is flanked on both sides by landscape beds with stacked stone pillars and white split-rail fencing.
Secrest Cir has a landscaped cul-de-sac island. Maplewood Farm Dr currently ends in a temporary cul-de-sac, which could be extended with future development opportunities.
Like most neighborhood streets in Medina, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated Medina City School District.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees for Maplewood Farms are approximately $132 annually.
Maplewood Farms is connected to Maplewood Estates (to the south), which has its own entrance off Chippewa Rd.

Austin Badger Park is 10 min away, which offers outdoor fitness stations, first-class mountain bike trails with ramps and biking accouterments, a coffee shop with mountain bike and snowshoe rental, and miles of paved trails that extend into two adjoining nature preserves. Chippewa Lake for motorized water sports is an 11 min drive.
