The lifestyle center, Crocker Park, is considered Westlake’s “Downtown” featuring more than 35 restaurants, 100+ retailers, luxury residential living, grocery stores, banking, a hotel, health clinic, fitness center, cinema, relaxing green spaces, a splash pad, and social and event spaces.
For family entertainment, there’s plenty of fun to be had. You’ll find endless arcade games, billiards, and great food at Dave & Buster’s. Sky Zone Trampoline Park offers all types of airborne fun including a Ninja Warrior Course, trapeze & swings, climbing wall, zip line, sky ladder and Ultimate Dodgeball. There’s also the new Urban Air Adventure Park with a huge indoor trampoline center, go-karts, climbing wall, ropes course, warrior course, tube playground/obstacle course, a cafe, and more!
The city’s state-of-the-art Recreation Center features a 13,500 square foot fitness room, 2 group exercise rooms, 2 high school-sized regulation basketball courts, cycling studio, elevated rubber running track, locker rooms with saunas, childcare, community rooms, and an indoor aquatics center housing 5 pools including a lap pool, a diving well, a children’s play pool, a lazy river, and slides. The 86-acre outdoor park complex has 2 baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, a fishing pond with dock, a playground, gazebo, picnic area, 1.2-mile paved outdoor trail, and plenty of green space for your enjoyment.
Westlake has a number of other beautiful parks: Clague Park, Roman Park, Tri-City Park, and Bradley Nature Park.
The Cleveland Metroparks’ Bradley Woods Reservation has 828 acres of dense forests, 2+ miles of hiking trails, a walking path surrounding a fishing lake, picnic pavilion, greenspace, and monarch butterfly waystation.
For outdoor swimming during the summer, the Westlake Aquatic Center & Peterson Pool has a lap pool, plunge pool, activity pool, splash pad and lazy river.
Westlake is within a 15 min drive from the shores of Lake Erie! The lakefront Huntington Reservation in Bay Village has a large sandy beach, kayak/SUP launch pad, a park, paved paths, playground, picnic areas, and concession stands.
With several golf courses located within the city, it is a prime location for golfers. Hilliard Lakes Golf Club is a family-owned 18-hole course that has received a Four Star Rating from Golf Digest Magazine. Meadowwood Golf Course is another public course that offers 27 holes. For private membership, Lakewood Country Club offers an 18-hole A.W. Tillinghast-designed private course, a swimming pool, tennis courts, and a state-of-the-art fitness center. You are also within 15 minutes of eight additional golf courses/clubs in neighboring suburbs.

Condado Tacos serves up some of my favorite tacos in all of Cleveland (I always order The Heater taco and a make-your-own-taco, previously called “The Kevin” – Firecracker shell, Tex-Mex ground beef, pickled red onions, jalapenos, middlefield smoked cheddar, sour cream, and Dirty Sauce). Don’t miss The Pasta Co-Op for gourmet specialty pasta bowls to-go (the Sweet Corn Barbeque and Turkey Truffle Bolognese are our favorites). For excellent authentic Indian cuisine, try Cafe Tandoor‘s Muglai Shorwa, Butter Chicken, Tandoori Mixed Grill, Garlic & Pishori Nan, Saffron Rice, and Masala Tea. Our favorite place for sushi is Blue Sushi Sake Grill, where we recommend the sake sangria, spicy charred edamame, shishito peppers—keep the leftover sauce for dunking, Tuna Tataki, Itchy Sea Bass, Tidal Wave roll, Hot Popper roll, and Spicy Gringo roll. For a romantic date or special celebration, Luca West serves high-end modern Italian in a sleek Tuscan setting.
