This subdivision is located 0.3 miles west of Bradley Rd, off the south side of Detroit Rd, and comprises the streets of Bur Oak Dr, W Essig Ln and Jager Dr (sometimes called Jager Blvd).
The single-family luxury homes of Bur Oak were built beginning in 2011 by builders including Bennett Builders, Buckingham Homes, Garland Griffin Homes, North Star Builders, Petros Homes, Ream Builders, and Valore.
In 2021, Petros Homes began selling new construction homes in the third and final phase of homes (northwest corner).

This subdivision, also called Bur Oak Estates, takes its name from the Bur Oak tree (Quercus macrocarpa), a native and majestic Oak found throughout most of Ohio.
Bur Oak homes feature a multitude of facades, from traditional full-brick/stone fronts to modern farmhouse and contemporary cottage styles.
Homes include ranch, 1.5 and 2-story floorplans that range from 3,350-6,150 square feet with 3-6 bedrooms and 3-5.5 bathrooms.

Homesites are ≥102′ wide and mainly range from 0.46 to 0.77 acres. There are also a few larger 1.0-acre lots in Phase III.

Lots on the east side of Jager Dr have conservation easements along the rear property lines, which are deed restricted to owners to stay protected.

The subdivision of Bur Oak is located along the northwest edge of Westlake, Ohio, off Detroit Rd, 0.3 miles west of Bradley Rd.
It’s conveniently just 4 minutes from I-90 for easy commuting and downtown date nights.
NOTE: While the proximity to I-90 is convenient, the interstate runs just north of the community and may subject it to noise pollution.
Bur Oak is one of the few developments within walking distance to Crocker Park—the best shopping on the west side of Cleveland—an expansive open-air collection of restaurants, retail, entertainment & leisure.

Golfers have a number of nearby golf courses: 7 min to Hilliard Lakes, 8 min to Red Tail, 9 min to Meadowood, 10 min to Sweetbriar, 11 min to Bob-O-Link Golf Course, and 16 min to Springvale and North Olmsted Golf Club.
