This subdivision, also called Bur Oak Estates, takes its name from the Bur Oak tree (Quercus macrocarpa), a massive and majestic Oak found throughout most of Ohio.

Location Details & Nearby Amenities
The subdivision of Bur Oak is located along the northwest edge of Westlake Ohio, off Detroit Rd, 0.3 miles west of Bradley Rd.
It’s conveniently just 4 minutes from I-90, so commuting or date nights downtown are easy.
While the proximity to I-90 is convenient, the interstate runs just north of the community and may subject it to noise pollution.
Bur Oak is one of the few developments within walking distance to Crocker Park—the best shopping on the west side of Cleveland—a 75-acre, open-air collection of restaurants, retail, entertainment & leisure. Additional retail and dining is available at Avon Commons.
Golfers have a number of nearby golf courses: 7 min to Hilliard Lakes, 8 min to Red Tail, 9 min to Meadowood, 10 min to Sweetbriar, 11 min to Bob-O-Link Golf Course, and 16 min to Springvale and North Olmsted Golf Club.
Boaters will feel right at home at The Cleveland Yachting Club (CYC) – one of the oldest and most prestigious yachting clubs in the nation. Home to more than 300 sail and powerboats, CYC is known for its beautiful setting, first-class facilities and family-friendly atmosphere. CYC is located on its own island at the mouth of Rocky River, nine miles west of downtown Cleveland.
