The Glens is a community of 96 semi-custom homes built by Kimball Hill Homes. Homes were built primarily from 2001-2006, with the final lots on Bradley Rd completed in 2021.

The Glens offers colonial homes ranging from 2,900-5,500 square feet, with 4-5 bedrooms and 3–5 bathrooms. There is also one home at 6,300 square feet.

Homes were designed with open floorplans and include desirable features like hardwood floors, extensive trim and crown moulding, Pella windows, multiple fireplaces, two-story foyers and great rooms, formal living & dining rooms, sunrooms, mudrooms, offices with beveled glass double doors, and vaulted bedrooms with walk-in closets. Granite kitchens feature large islands with seating, dinettes, 42″ soft close cabinetry, under-mount and in-cabinet lighting, tile backsplashes, and a massive walk-in pantry. Spacious owner’s suites have vaulted or tray ceilings, dual walk-in closets and en suite bathrooms with dual vanities and separate tiled shower and tub. Finished basements feature bars, media and exercise areas. Outside, homes are complete with irrigation systems, landscape lighting, composite decks, custom paver patios and fire pits.

Homesites range from .3 to .52 acres. Nearly every backyard is private and heavily wooded.

Homes have 2-3 car attached garages. Side-entry garages are available on some of the larger homesites.

If you’re looking for a cul-de-sac home, The Glens has five – each with a landscaped island.

Residents will enjoy The Glens community park with a playground, picnic benches, gazebo, and walking trails around a pond. The park is just west of the cobblestone Barclay Blvd turnabout.

There are three entrances to The Glens, each of Bradley Road: the main entrance of Kilgour Dr, and two via the horseshoe-shaped Glen Lyon Dr. The community also encompasses the streets of Barclay Blvd, Logan Ct, Durham Dr and Falkirk Dr, as well as a few homes on Bradley Rd.

The Glens is connected to the neighboring community of Bur Oak via Kilgour Dr and Durham Dr.

This community has curbs and sidewalks on both sides of the street.

The Glens Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees are approximately $600 annually.

Convenient Location

The Glens is located along the western edge of Westlake Ohio off Bradley Road, between Avon and Detroit roads. It’s conveniently just 4 minutes from I-90, so commuting or date nights downtown are easy.

The Glens is one of the few developments within walking distance to Crocker Park—the best shopping on the west side of Cleveland—a 75-acre, open-air collection of restaurants, retail, entertainment & leisure. Additional retail and dining is available at nearby Avon Commons.

If you are a golfer, there are a number of nearby golf courses: 7 min to Hilliard Lakes, 8 min to Red Tail, 9 min to Meadowood, 10 min to Sweetbriar, 11 min to Bob-O-Link Golf Course, and 16 min to Springvale and North Olmsted Golf Club.

Boaters will feel right at home at The Cleveland Yachting Club (CYC) – one of the oldest and most prestigious yachting clubs in the nation. Home to more than 300 sail and powerboats, CYC is known for its beautiful setting, first-class facilities and family-friendly atmosphere. CYC is located on its own island at the mouth of Rocky River, nine miles west of downtown Cleveland.

There are several clubs in the area: Avon Oaks Country Club is just west of the development, Lakewood Country Club is 6 min south on Bradley Rd, and Westwood Country Club is 15 min east.

The city of Westlake has a modern state-of-the-art Recreation Center. The 86-acre outdoor complex includes 2 baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, fishing pond with dock, playground, gazebo, picnic area, paved outdoor trail, and plenty of green space for your enjoyment. Inside the facility, there’s a 13,500 square foot fitness room, 2 group exercise rooms, 2 high school-sized regulation basketball courts, cycling studio, elevated rubber running track, locker rooms with saunas, childcare, and community/conference/class/craft rooms. The indoor aquatics center houses 5 pools including a lap pool, a diving well, a children’s play pool, a lazy river, and slides.

For outdoor swimming during the warmer months, check out the Westlake Aquatic Center located in Clague Park. It offers five bodies of water for all ages: slide plunge pool, lazy river, activity pool, splash pad, and the main pool with diving board, climbing wall and lap area.

Westlake’s top-rated public schools are all nearby: 9 min to Westlake High School; 11 min to Elementary, Intermediate and Lee Burneson Middle School.
