The Glens is a community of 96 semi-custom homes built by Kimball Hill Homes. Homes were built primarily from 2001-2006, with the final lots on Bradley Rd completed in 2021.
The Glens offers colonial homes ranging from 2,900-5,500 square feet, with 4-5 bedrooms and 3–5 bathrooms. There is also one home at 6,300 square feet.
Homes were designed with open floorplans and include desirable features like mudrooms, hardwood floors, extensive trim and crown moulding, Pella windows, multiple fireplaces, two-story foyers, formal living & dining rooms, offices with beveled glass double doors, and fireplaced two-story great rooms that are open to kitchens with granite of quartz countertops, large islands with seating, 42″ soft close cabinetry, under-mount and in-cabinet lighting, tile backsplashes, massive walk-in pantries, dinettes, and even sunrooms. Spacious owner’s suites have vaulted or tray ceilings, dual walk-in closets and en suite bathrooms with dual vanities, tiled walk-in showers, and soaking/jetted tubs. Finished lower levels feature bars, media rooms, and exercise rooms. Homes have 2-3 car attached garages. Side-entry garages are available on some of the larger homesites.
Homesites in The Glens range from .30 to .52 acres. Nearly every backyard is private and heavily wooded. Yards include irrigation systems, landscape lighting, composite decks, custom paver patios and fire pits.

There are three entrances to The Glens, each of Bradley Road: the main entrance of Kilgour Dr, and two entrances via the horseshoe-shaped Glen Lyon Dr. The entrances are flanked by landscape beds with lanter-topped pillars, wrought iron fencing, hedging and lush plantings.
In addition to the entrance streets, the community also encompasses the streets of Barclay Blvd, Logan Ct, Durham Dr and Falkirk Dr, as well as seven homes on Bradley Rd.
This community has acorn-shaped streetlights and curbs and sidewalks on both sides of the street.
The Glens is connected to the neighboring community of Bur Oak via Kilgour Dr and Durham Dr.
