Convenient Location

The development of Westminster in Westlake Ohio is located off Walter Rd, between Center Ridge and Westwood roads. This eastern section of Westlake near Rocky River offers the trifecta of quick access to I-90, local retail, and numerous nearby parks.

The community is ideally situated 1.3 miles south of I-90 – far enough away to evade interstate congestion and traffic noise, but still accessible in 6 minutes. You are also 10 min to I-480.

Westminster is 11 minutes from Crocker Park—the best shopping on the west side of Cleveland—a 75-acre, open-air collection of restaurants, retail, entertainment & leisure. Additional retail and dining is available at Westwood Shopping Plaza and Westgate Shopping Center (7 min) and Great Northern (9 min).

As for nearby parks, there are several. Tri-City (5 min) has ball fields/courses, picnic pavilion, playground, and restroom facilities. Clague Park (5 min), which hosts the city’s 4th of July fireworks display, has ball fields/courts, picnic pavilions, walking trails, and a duck pond. The new Westlake Aquatic Center is also located in Clague Park. It offers five bodies of water for all ages: slide plunge pool, lazy river, activity pool, splash pad, and the main pool with diving board, climbing wall and lap area.

The Metroparks Rocky River Reservation is just 10 minutes away, offering 2,520 acres with picnic areas, play areas, sledding hills, ball fields, nature trails, paved trails, nature center, stables and bridle trails, marina, fishing areas, boat rentals, waterfalls and lagoons, and three golf courses.

Home to more than 300 sail and powerboats, CYC is known for its beautiful setting, first-class facilities and family-friendly atmosphere. CYC is located on its own island at the mouth of Rocky River, nine miles west of downtown Cleveland.
