Brigadoon is a single-street cul-de-sac community of 17 upscale custom-built homes in Westlake, Ohio within walking distance of the Rec Center and the Intermediate, Middle and High Schools.
This subdisiion comprises the residential street of Brigadoon Ct, located off the south side of Hilliard Blvd, 0.7 miles west of Dover Center Rd.


These elegant homes were custom-built by C J Tom Builders from 1985-1987.
A variety of facade styles offer an interesting and unique streetscape.
These two-story homes range from 3,400-6,600 square feet (including finished basements) with 3-5 bedrooms and 3.5–4.5 bathrooms.

First or second-floor owner’s suites feature oversized bedrooms with volume ceilings, walk-in closets, and oversized en-suite bathrooms with vaulted ceilings, dual sinks, tiled walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, and enclosed commodes.

Finished lower levels are complete with media/theater rooms, billiard areas, bars, exercise rooms, and storage space.
Attached side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Composite decks and/or patios extend living outside.
Generously sized lots range from 0.36 to 0.56 acres. There is also one home on 1.33 acres.
Backyards are treed or wooded, offering privacy, shade and the soothings songs of birds.
Six homes on the east side of the street abut a 0.72-acre parcel of protected forestland owned by the city (green parcel on above-illustrated map) or a forested 5.47-acre parcel owned by Westlake’s BOE (yellow parcel), providing added privacy and endless nature views.
A ditch runs along the rear property lines of five homes along the southeast end of the street.
The entrance is off Hilliard Blvd, a picturesque 4-lane street with a divided center median that houses saplings and more than 220 flower boxes, which are sponsored and planted by residents of Westlake.

Brigadoon Ct is lined with lantern-style streetlights, street trees, curbs, and sidewalks.
The cul-de-sac has an equisitely landscaped island with garden pavers.
Optional (voluntary) Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Brigadoon are approximately $300 annually for maintenance of the entrance and cul-de-sac.
With no connection to another development, traffic is limited to residents and their guests.
Bordering the community to the west is Carousel Court.

The community is ideally situated 0.8 miles south of I-90 – far enough away to evade interstate traffic noise, but still accessible in 7 minutes. You’re also 10 min to I-480, 16 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 17 min to I-71.
Westlake’s top-rated public schools are all nearby: 15-17 min walk or 3-5 min drive to Westlake High School, Intermediate, and Lee Burneson Middle School; 5 min drive to Elementary School.
Brigadoon is just 4 min from Crocker Park—the best shopping on the west side of Cleveland—a 75-acre, open-air collection of restaurants, retail, entertainment & leisure. Additional retail and dining is available at Avon Commons (14 min).
As for nearby parks, there are several. Bradley Nature Park, a 7 min drive, is a 20-acre park located on Bradley Road just south of Hilliard Blvd. The park features a sledding hill, a tot playground, a pavilion, picnic tables and grills, a nature trail, and restroom facilities. Clague Park (8 min), which hosts the city’s 4th of July fireworks display, has ball fields/courts, picnic pavilions, walking trails, a playground, duck pond and Westlake Aquatic Center, oingffer five bodies of water for all ages: slide plunge pool, lazy river, activity pool, splash pad, and the main pool with diving board, climbing wall and lap area. Bradley Woods Reservation is also 8 min away with 828 acres of dense forests, 2+ miles of hiking trails, a fishing lake with a surrounding walking path, picnic pavilion, greenspace, and monarch butterfly waystation.
Or if you desire a day at the beach, Huntington Reservation on Lake Erie is only 11 mins away!
The city of Westlake has a state-of-the-art Recreation Center, which is bikable in 6 min or walkable in 20. The 86-acre outdoor park complex includes 2 baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, fishing pond with dock, playground, gazebo, picnic area, 1.2-mile paved outdoor trail, and plenty of green space for your enjoyment. Inside the facility, there’s a 13,500 square foot fitness room, 2 group exercise rooms, 2 high school-sized regulation basketball courts, cycling studio, elevated rubber running track, locker rooms with saunas, childcare, and community/conference/class/craft rooms. The indoor aquatics center houses 5 pools including a lap pool, a diving well, a children’s play pool, a lazy river, and slides.
If you’re a golfer, you are less than 15 minutes from an array of courses: Bob-O-Link, Hilliard Lakes, Meadowood, North Olmsted Golf Club, Springvale, Sweetbriar.
There are several private clubs nearby: 7 min to Lakewood Country Club, 10 min to Avon Oaks Country Club, and 11 min to Red Tail and Westwood Country Club.
Boaters are 17 min from The Cleveland Yachting Club (CYC) – one of the oldest and most prestigious yachting clubs in the nation. Home to more than 300 sail and powerboats, CYC is known for its beautiful setting, first-class facilities and family-friendly atmosphere. CYC is located on its own island at the mouth of Rocky River, nine miles west of downtown Cleveland.
