Lake Forest is a roughly 120-home, custom-built luxury subdivision along the desirable western part of Westlake, Ohio. This community includes single-family homes built by Hennie Homes, Orley Homes, Petros Homes, Ronald Puzzitello Fine Homes and Sareth Builders. Homes were built from 1988 through 2017, with preliminary housing plans recently approved to build the last phase of 34 more homes.

Homes in Lake Forest range in size from 3,315 to 7,589 square feet, with 3–6 bedrooms and 3.5–5.5+ bathrooms. Generously sized home sites range from .41 to 1.5+ acres. Nearly every backyard in the community is private and wooded, with cul-de-sac lots also available.

The subdivision of Lake Forest encompasses the entrance of Forest Lake Dr, as well as the streets of Waterfall Way, Deer Run Ln, Hunters Creek Dr, Rocky Ridge Dr, and Turtle Creek Pkwy. It connects to the neighboring subdivision, Country Club Estates, via Walnut Point Dr and Hunters Creek Dr. This community has curbs and sidewalks on both sides of the street.

There is no HOA at Lake Forest. However, the absence of an HOA does not infer that this community is anything but impeccable. In fact, Lake Forest is one of the most stunning developments in all of Westlake!

Convenient Location

Lake Forest subdivision is located off Schwartz, just west of Bradley Road. This western section of Westlake that borders Avon is a quiet, residential area of high-end single-family home subdivisions nestled amongst parks, pastures and golf courses.

The community is ideally situated 1.3 miles south of I-90 – far enough away to evade interstate congestion and traffic noise, but still accessible in less than 10 minutes.

Inside the facility, there’s a 13,500 square foot fitness room, 2 group exercise rooms, 2 high school-sized regulation basketball courts, cycling studio, elevated rubber running track, locker rooms with saunas, childcare, and community/conference/class/craft rooms. The indoor aquatics center houses 5 pools including a lap pool, a diving well, a children’s play pool, a lazy river, and slides.

The city pool, Westlake Aquatic Center, in Clague Park offers five bodies of water for all ages: slide plunge pool, lazy river, activity pool, splash pad, and the main pool with diving board, climbing wall and lap area.

Westlake’s top-rated public schools are all nearby: 8 min to Westlake High School; 9 min to Elementary, Intermediate and Lee Burneson Middle School.

Local private schooling is available at esteemed institutions like Magnificat High School, a Catholic all-girls college-preparatory high school located in Rocky River (17 min); Lake Ridge Academy, an esteemed K-12 co-educational college preparatory school in the neighboring suburb of North Ridgeville (19 min); St. Edward High School, a private Roman Catholic high school in Lakewood (23 min); St. Ignatius High School, a private Roman Catholic, Jesuit high school in Ohio City (24 min).
