About Columbia Station Ohio
Columbia Station, also known as Columbia Township, is located in Lorain County Ohio roughly 24 miles (30 minutes) southwest of downtown Cleveland. Spanning 25 square miles, it is the easternmost of Lorain County‘s eighteen townships.
Surrounding suburbs include Olmsted Township, Olmsted Falls, Berea, Strongsville, Brunswick Hills, Liverpool Township, Grafton Township, Eaton Township, and North Ridgeville.
Founded in 1807, Columbia was the first continuously inhabited settlement in Lorain County.
Today, with a population of roughly 7,300, Columbia Station is a somewhat small town offering residents a quiet rural country atmosphere. It is a close-knit, traditional community with a comfortable hometown feel.
