About Hunting Meadows in Columbia Station
Hunting Meadows is a community of 130 homes surrounded by open greenspace in northeast Columbia Station Ohio, located off the east side of Snell Rd, just east of E River Rd.
Homes were built exclusively by Ryan Homes from 2016-2020.
Ryan Homes offered eight floorplans from which to personalize (semi-custom), including ranch and two-story styles, ranging from 1,700-4,900 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.
Facades are either traditionally styled or Craftsman-inspired, accented with brick or stone.
Amenities in Hunting Meadows homes include 9′ first-floor ceilings, LVP flooring, mud hall cubbies/benches, separate laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, flex rooms and/or private dens, formal dining rooms, and great rooms with fireplaces and large windows that are open to kitchens featuring quartz or granite countertops, tile backsplash, center island with seating, 42″ cabinets, walk-in pantry, dining area, and even sunrooms. Owner’s suites (some are first-floor) feature walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Second floors lofts and/or bonus rooms offer extra living space near bedrooms. Finished lower levels are available with recreation rooms, wet bars, exercise rooms, and bathrooms. Attached front-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars (some 3rd parking spots are tandem).
Cleared homesites range from 0.16 to 0.55 acres. Privacy is achieved with fencing and/or plantings.
The development is surrounded by 42 acres of open space owned by the HOA (designated in yellow on above map), offering vast meadow views.

There are two entrances from Snell Rd via Hunting Meadows Dr and Stag Thicket Ln. Each is flanked by landscaped beds with stone pillars with signage and white split rail fencing. The main entrance of Hunting Meadows Dr also has a long divided median with lush landscaping.
In addition to its entrance streets, this subdivision encompasses Antler Dr, Caribou Ct, and White Tail Run.
Unlike many Columbia Station developments, its streets have curbs and sidewalks on both sides.
Post is delivered to the cluster mailbox unit.
This community is served by Columbia Local School District.
Homeowner’s Association fees at Hunting Meadows are approximately $360 annually.
The Estates of Columbia Ridge is north and Redfern Farms is northwest.
Heather Lane is across the street.

The development of Hunting Meadows is in northeast Columbia Station near the border of Strongsville. It is located off Snell Rd, just east of E River Rd.
You are equidistant from several highways: 15 min to I-71, I-480, and I-80/Turnpike.
SouthPark Mall and Strongsville’s bustling retail sector is a 15-min drive.
There are plenty of nearby recreational opportunities. The city’s Columbia Township Park (6 min drive) is home to ball fields, tennis and basketball courts, a volleyball court, horseshoe pits, pavilions, a playground, and a walking path. The park also hosts various events year-round. You are 8 min from Lorain County Metro Parks’ Columbia Reservation with 425-acres characterized by open scenic views transversed by The Rocky River, numerous lakes and ponds, kayak/canoe access, 4 miles of trails, a playground, 18-hole mini-golf course, picnic shelters, a pizzeria & ice cream parlor, and an outdoor movie theatre. It’s 10 min to Cleveland Metroparks’ Mill Stream Run Reservation with extensive trails, Wallace Lake and beach, rope courses and zip lines, as well as The Chalet, which has two toboggan chutes that are open in the winter.
Swings-N-Things Fun Park is 13 minutes away – offering 13 acres of indoor and outdoor fun including two go-kart tracks, two 18-hole miniature golf courses, bumper boats, batting cages, indoor playground, a two-story game room, paintball, and homemade ice cream.
Columbia Station has three public 18-hole courses — Creekwood, Hickory Nut, and Royal Crest — as well as a 36-hole course at Mallard Creek.
