About Granger Highlands
Granger Highlands is a single-street community of 14 homes in eastern Medina Ohio (Granger Township). Homes were constructed from 2000-2005.
Homes range from 3,000-5,000 square feet with 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5+ bathrooms.
Inside, homes feature hardwood flooring, two-story foyers with turned staircases, two-story or vaulted great rooms with fireplaces, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, private dens, and large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Kitchens feature granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Owner’s suites include walk-in closets and bathrooms with custom tiled walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) are complete with media rooms, bars, and exercise rooms. Homes offer attached 2-4 car side-entry garages.
Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks and fireplaces or fire pits.
Homesites measure 2.0 to 2.5 acres. The majority of homesites are cleared, but there are a few homesites with wooded backyards.
There is one entrance to this development via Loyal Ln from Granger Rd.
The sign at the end of the cul-de-sac notes that there will be an extension of the street.
As with the majority of Medina streets, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
Homes have well water and septic systems.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Granger Highlands.
This neighborhood is serviced by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.
Other nearby communities include Western Reserve Homestead and Granger Meadows.

Convenient Location
The subdivision of Granger Highlands is in eastern Medina Ohio (Granger Township). The entrance is located off Granger Rd. 0.3 miles east of Beach Rd.
Highways are accessible in 6 min to I-71, 7 min to I-271, 12 min to I-77, and 20 min to I-80/Turnpike. While the proximity to highways is convenient, this development is bordered on two sides by highways (I-271 directly north and I-71 to the west). Thus, the community is subjected to interstate traffic noise.
Summit Mall and shopping center is only 15 min away. Anchored by Dillard’s and Macy’s, it boasts over 125 of your favorite retailers like Apple, J. Crew, Gap, and Vera Bradley as well as the restaurants you crave like First Watch, P.F. Changs and Bravo. In addition, you’ll find an abundance of shopping and dining options nearby like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s, Target, Lowe’s, and Home Depot as well as Winking Lizard Peninsula, Bomba Taco, Michael Angelo’s Winery, Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, and more.
Local outdoor recreation amenities are plentiful! You’re just 4 min to Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park with green space, two miles of trails, a large playground, fishing pond, and a spacious fenced dog run. The 150-acre Granger Wetlands Wildlife Sanctuary is just a 5 min drive. Also only 5 min away is Lake Medina for hiking, fishing, canoeing, and cross-country skiing. Just 10 min away is Allardale Park with hiking and equestrian trails, a picnic shelter and indoor lodge. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is 12 min away with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. Richfield Heritage Preserve is 17 min away, offering 336 wooded acres with hiking trails that include a portion of the Buckeye Trail, winding streams, two lakes for fishing and non-motorized watersports, and a horse barn with five miles of bridle trails. Bath Nature Preserve is a 20 min drive with hiking and equestrian trails, two ponds for catch-and-release fishing, sled riding, and cross country skiing. The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is 20 min away.
If you’re a golfer, there are a number of golf courses accessible in 20 minutes or less including Hinckley Hills, Pleasant Valley, Ironwood, Briarwood, Bunker Hill, Seneca, and Sleepy Hollow. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 8 min to Weymouth Country Club.
Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 25 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
