About Granger Highlands
Granger Highlands is a single-street community of 14 homes in eastern Medina, Ohio (Granger Township) comprising Loyal Ln, located 0.3 miles east of Beach Rd, off the south side of Granger Rd.
Homes were constructed from 2000-2005.
These ranch and 2-story homes range from 3,000-5,000 square feet with 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5+ bathrooms.
Inside, homes feature hardwood flooring, two-story foyers with turned staircases, two-story or vaulted great rooms with fireplaces, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, private dens, and large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Kitchens feature granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Owner’s suites include walk-in closets and bathrooms with custom tiled walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) are complete with media rooms, bars, and exercise rooms.
Homes are served by well water and septic systems.
Attached side-entry garages accommodate 2-4 cars.
Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks and fireplaces or fire pits.
Homesites are ≥175′ wide and range from 2.0 to 2.5 acres.
Most homesites are cleared, offering open vistas. A few homesites have wooded backyards for enhanced privacy.
The topography of the development is mostly flat, suitable for lawn games, playsets, pools and gardens.
Tributary streams of Granger Ditch meander across two lots at the southeast end of Loyal Ln, offering rolling topography.
A smaller stream crosses the north end of the community.
The entrance to Loyal Ln is flanked by landscaped beds with mature evergreens and white split-rail fencing that extends across the front of the community.
As with the majority of Medina streets, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
Loyal Ln has a temporary cul-de-sac, which could be extended with future development opportunities.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Granger Highlands.
This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.
Other nearby communities include Western Reserve Homestead and Granger Meadows.

The subdivision of Granger Highlands is in eastern Medina, Ohio (Granger Township), located off the south side of Granger Rd, 0.3 miles east of Beach Rd.
Highways are accessible in 6 min to I-71, 7 min to I-271, 12 min to I-77, and 20 min to I-80/Turnpike.
Summit Mall and shopping center is only 15 min away. Anchored by Dillard’s and Macy’s, it boasts over 125 of your favorite retailers like Apple, J. Crew, Gap, and Vera Bradley as well as the restaurants you crave like First Watch, P.F. Changs and Bravo. In addition, you’ll find an abundance of shopping and dining options nearby like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s, Target, Lowe’s, and Home Depot as well as Winking Lizard Peninsula, Bomba Taco, Michael Angelo’s Winery, Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, and more.
Local outdoor recreation amenities are plentiful! You’re just 4 min to Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park with green space, two miles of trails, a large playground, fishing pond, and a spacious fenced dog run. The 150-acre Granger Wetlands Wildlife Sanctuary is just a 5 min drive. Also only 5 min away is Lake Medina for hiking, fishing, canoeing, and cross-country skiing. Just 10 min away is Allardale Park with hiking and equestrian trails, a picnic shelter and indoor lodge. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is 12 min away with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March.

Golfers have a number of golf courses accessible in 20 minutes or less including Hinckley Hills, Pleasant Valley, Ironwood, Briarwood, Bunker Hill, Seneca, and Sleepy Hollow. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 8 min to Weymouth Country Club.
Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 25 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
