Hickorycreek (also spelled Hickory Creek) is a community of roughly 40 custom-built homes in northeast Medina, Ohio (Granger Township), located off the west side of Stony Hill Rd, between Remsen and Wilbur Roads. This subdivision encompasses the streets of Hickorycreek Dr, Willow View Dr and Masons Rest Dr.
Hickorycreek homes include colonial, cape cod, and ranch styles that range from 3,000-8,000 square feet with 3-6 bedrooms and 2.5-5.5 bathrooms.
These homes were built from 1998-2024. Being that these homes were constructed by multiple builders over 25 years, designs and amenities vary.
Homes are serviced by well water and septic systems.
Homesites are approximately 175′ wide and range from 2.0 to 8.9 acres. Lots may be cleared, lightly treed or heavily wooded.

Masons Rest Dr and Willow View Dr end in permanent cul-de-sacs. Hickorycreek Dr currently ends in a temporary cul-de-sac, which could be extended with future development opportunities.
As with the majority of Medina subdivisions, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
Post is conveniently delivered to mailboxes at the end of each driveway.
⚡POWER LINES: Distribution lines run along the west end of the community, for those with concerns regarding visual encumbrance.
This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Hickorycreek.
Directly south is the development of Olde Stone.

The Hickorycreek subdivision (also spelled Hickory Creek) is in northeast Medina, Ohio (Granger Township) off the west side of Stony Hill Rd, equidistant between Remsen Rd and Wilbur Rd.
Highways are accessible in 5 min to I-271, 6 min to I-71, 14 min to I-77, and 15 min to I-80/Turnpike.
🔊NOISE: While the proximity to highways is convenient, the east end of the community is 0.3 miles from I-271 and the west end is 0.6 miles from I-77, which may subject it to interstate traffic noise.
Summit Mall and shopping center is only 17 min away. Anchored by Dillard’s and Macy’s, it boasts over 125 of your favorite retailers like Apple, J. Crew, Gap, and Vera Bradley as well as the restaurants you crave like First Watch, P.F. Changs and Bravo. In addition, you’ll find an abundance of shopping and dining options nearby like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s, Target, Lowe’s, and Home Depot as well as Winking Lizard Peninsula, Bomba Taco, Michael Angelo’s Winery, Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, and more.
Local outdoor recreation amenities are plentiful! Seven min away is Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park with family-friendly green space, two miles of trails, a large playground, fishing pond, and a spacious fenced dog run. Just 8 min away is Allardale Park with hiking and equestrian trails, a picnic shelter and indoor lodge. The 150-acre Granger Wetlands Wildlife Sanctuary is just a 5 min drive. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is only 11 min away with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March.
Golfers have numerous golf courses accessible in 20 minutes or less including Hinckley Hills, Pleasant Valley, Ironwood, Briarwood, Bunker Hill, Seneca, and Sleepy Hollow. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 10 min to Weymouth Country Club.
Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 20 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
