About Emerald Woods
Emerald Woods is a high-end community of 26 custom-built luxury homes on 2+ acre wooded lots in York Township of Medina, Ohio. It is located off the east side of Erhart Rd, just north of Stone Rd. This subdivision encompasses Emerald Run Rd (excluding its cul-de-sac) and the cul-de-sac street of Sapphire Ct.
The three lots around the newly added Emerald Run Rd cul-de-sac (not yet pictured below) belong to Emerald Run subdivision.
These homes were constructed from 2005-2020 by custom builders including Landmark Homes.
Emerald Woods homes range from 3,600-10,000 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.
Being that homes were built over 19 years, designs and amenities vary. Common features include hardwood flooring, laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, two-story foyers with turned staircases, formal dining rooms, private dens, and second-floor lofts or bonus rooms. Great rooms (many are vaulted) with fireplaces are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, center island, breakfast bar seating, pantry, and dinette area or morning room. First-floor owner’s suites include vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets and bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) are complete with media rooms, bars, billiard areas, and exercise rooms. Side or rear-entry attached garages accommodate 3+ cars. Some homes also have detached garages and/or outbuildings.
Homes are serviced by city water and septic systems.
Backyards feature custom patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, and fire pits.
Homesites range from 2.1 to 6.5 acres. Nearly all lots are heavily forested, offering the ultimate in privacy and gorgeous views of nature.
A few lots have private ponds.
Two small tributary streams of Mallet Creek intersect this subdivision (dashed blue lines on above map), offering gently rolling topography for adjacent lots.
The entrance street of Emerald Run Rd is flanked by lush landscape beds and community signage.
As with most neighborhood streets in Medina, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
Traffic is limited to its residents and guests.
The neighborhood is served by Buckeye Local School District. The school campus is a 9 min drive.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Emerald Woods are approximately $250 annually.
