Lang Farm Estates, in eastern Medina, Ohio (Granger Township), is a single-street community of twelve custom-built single-family homes with rolling topography that offers stunning views.
This subdivision is located at the northern intersection of Coddingville and State Roads, encompassing the cul-de-sac street of Lang Farm Dr and 4847 Coddingville Rd.
Lang Farm homes were constructed from 2003-2010.
Lang Farm Estates homes range from 3,400-5,800 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 3.5-4.5 bathrooms.
Inside, homes are appointed with hardwood flooring, dramatic two-story foyers with turned staircases, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, formal living rooms and/or private dens, and large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Two-story or vaulted great rooms with fireplaces are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, top-of-the-line appliances, walk-in pantry, dinette area, and hearth or sunroom. Owner’s suites include walk-in closets, and spa-like bathrooms with custom tiled walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) are complete with media rooms, bars, kitchenettes, and exercise rooms.
Side-entry garages accommodate 3-5 cars. Some homes also have detached garages/outbuildings.
Homes have well water and septic systems.
Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks, and fireplaces or fire pits.
Cleared or lightly treed homesites measure from 2.0 to 3.52 acres. Some lots offer scenic elevated or rolling landscapes.

As with the majority of Medina streets, Lang Farm Dr has no curbs or sidewalks.
With no connection to another development, traffic is limited to residents and their guests.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Lang Farm Estates.
This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.

Highways are accessible in 7 min to I-271, 8 min to I-77, 10 min to I-71, and 20 min to I-80/Turnpike.
Montrose’s commercial district is just 8 min east for a plethora of dining options, grocers, and retailers including Home Depot, Lowe’s, Hobby Lobby, T. J. Maxx, Walmart, World Market, Staples, and JCPenney.
Summit Mall and shopping center is only 10 min away. Anchored by Dillard’s and Macy’s, it boasts over 125 of your favorite retailers like Apple, J. Crew, Gap, and Vera Bradley as well as the restaurants you crave like First Watch, P.F. Changs and Bravo. In addition, you’ll find an abundance of shopping and dining options nearby like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s, Target, Lowe’s, and Home Depot as well as Winking Lizard Peninsula, Bomba Taco, Michael Angelo’s Winery, Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, and more.
Local outdoor recreation amenities are plentiful! The 150-acre Granger Wetlands Wildlife Sanctuary is just a 5 min drive. Just 6 min away is Allardale Park with hiking and equestrian trails, a picnic shelter and indoor lodge. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is 8 min away with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. You’re 10 min to Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park with green space, two miles of trails, a large playground, fishing pond, and a spacious fenced dog run. Bath Nature Preserve is a 13 min drive with hiking and equestrian trails, two ponds for catch-and-release fishing, sled riding, and cross country skiing. The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad is 14 min away. Richfield Heritage Preserve is 15 min away, offering 336 wooded acres with hiking trails that include a portion of the Buckeye Trail, winding streams, two lakes for fishing and non-motorized watersports, and a horse barn with five miles of bridle trails. Lake Medina is also 15 min away for hiking, fishing, canoeing, and cross-country skiing.
If you’re a golfer, there are a number of golf courses accessible in 20 minutes or less including Hinckley Hills, Pleasant Valley, Ironwood, Briarwood, Bunker Hill, Seneca, and Sleepy Hollow. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 8 min to The Sharon Golf Club and 14 min to Weymouth Country Club.
Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 25 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
