About Highland Meadows
Highland Meadows is a community of 29 single-family luxury homes in Medina, Ohio (Montville Township) adjacent to the Elementary School, a park, and the golf course of Fox Meadow Country Club.
This sudivision is located a half-mile east of Wooster Pike Rd off the south side of Sharon Copley Rd, and comprises Highland Meadows Dr and the western end of Highland Green Dr and its cul-de-sac (house numbers 6400 to 6424).
Homes were built from 1999-2018.
The majority of homes are colonial style and range from 3,200-5,300 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.
Inside, homes feature exquisite craftsmanship and high-end finishes, hardwood flooring, two-story foyers with turned staircases, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings and/or millwork, formal living rooms or private dens, large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Great rooms (some are two-story) with fireplaces are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dinette area or morning room. Owner’s suites (some are first-floor) include vaulted or tray ceilings, walk-in closet, and bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels are complete with media rooms, billiard areas, bars, and exercise rooms.
All homes have public water and sewer.
Attached side-entry garages accommodate 2.5-3 cars.
Backyards feature custom patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, and fireplaces or fire pits.
Cleared or wooded homesites range from 0.39 to 1 acre.
Residences are surrounded by 19.75 acres of HOA-owned greenspace (designated in yellow on above map), some of it wooded.
Numerous homes along the eastern side of Highland Meadows Dr abut Fox Meadow’s fairway #2 or 3.
To the west, is the 39-acre Cobblestone Park with four baseball diamonds, two lacrosse fields, and a one-mile hiking trail, which occupy the back property of Medina’s Ralph E. Waite Elementary School.
The entrance to Highland Meadows Dr is flanked on both sides by landscape beds with garden stones, mature trees, signage, and white split-rail fencing that continues along the streetside until the first home.
The first home is roughly 0.2 miles south of Sharon Copley Rd, so no homes are along the main road.
Unlike most neighborhood streets in Medina, there are curbs and sidewalks on both sides of the street.
The cul-de-sac of Highland Green Dr is enhanced with a landscaped island.
All mailboxes are the same design, bringing uniformity to the streetscape.
This neighborhood is serviced by the highly-rated Medina City School District. Ralph E. Waite Elementary School is directly west of this development. Bussing is provided to all schools.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees for Highland Meadows are approximately $300 annually.
Highland Meadows is connected to the country club community of Fox Meadow and it’s just a short golf cart ride to the clubhouse & pool.
To the south is Cobblestone Park, which has an entrance from Poe Rd.

In addition, you’ll find an abundance of shopping and dining options nearby like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s, Target, Lowe’s, and Home Depot as well as Winking Lizard Peninsula, Bomba Taco, Michael Angelo’s Winery, Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, and more.
Local outdoor recreation amenities are plentiful! Fred Greenwood Park, with a large pavilion, walking trail, playground, and splash pad is a 5 min drive. Austin Badger Park is 6 min away, which offers outdoor fitness stations, first-class mountain bike trails with ramps and biking accouterments, a coffee shop with mountain bike and snowshoe rental, and miles of paved trails that extend into two adjoining nature preserves. It’s 12 min to Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park with green space, two miles of trails, a large playground, fishing pond, and a spacious fenced dog run. Lake Medina is 16 min away for hiking, fishing, canoeing, and cross-country skiing.
There are a number of golf courses accessible in 20 minutes or less including Pine Valley, Pleasant Valley, Bunker Hill, Rawiga Golf Club, Ridge Top, Rawiga Golf Club, and Loyal Oak.
