About Ashbury Estates
Ashbury Estates is a community of 37 homes in northeast Medina, Ohio (Granger Township), located off the south side of Wilbur Rd, 0.6 miles east of Nichols Rd. This subdivision encompasses Argyle Ln (also called Argyle Dr) and the cul-de-sac street of McCarren Dr.
These homes were constructed between 2012-2021. Builders include Legacy Homes of Medina, Parrit Homes, and Windridge Homes.
Homes in Ashbury Estates mainly range from 3,300-5,800 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 3.5-5.5 bathrooms.
Inside, homes feature hardwood flooring, solid core doors, two-story foyers with open staircases, two-story or vaulted great rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows and stone-front fireplaces, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, private dens, and large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Kitchens feature granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, center island with breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Trayed ceiling owner’s suites include walk-in closets and bathrooms with custom tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Guest bedrooms also have walk-in closets. Finished lower levels (a few lot have coveted walkouts!) are complete with media rooms, bars, and exercise rooms.

Numerous wooded properties boast nature trails and/or four-wheeler trails.
A winding creek meanders through the back lots along the east and southeast ends of the subdivision (view area Flood Report), and Wolf Creek intersects lots at the southwest corner of the development (view Flood Report), offering rolling topography. Some stream adjacent lots have federally protected wetlands with conservation easements that are deed-restricted to owners to stay protected.
Other than property directly bordering streams/creeks, the community’s topography is flat, which is suitable for gardens, playsets, and lawn games.
The entrance to Argyle Ln is flanked by stone pillars with signage and white three-rail ranch-style fencing, which extends along the front of the community.
With cleared front yards and homes visible from the street, Ashbury Estates has a very open feel to it.
As with most Medina subdivisions, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
Stormwater is conveyed by grassed streetside drainage swales with storm sewers.
Post is conveniently delivered to mailboxes at the end of each driveway.
The east end of McCarren Dr is a dead end, which could be extended with future development opportunities.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Ashbury Estates are approximately $200 annually.
This neighborhood is served by the highly-rated Highland Local School District, along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.
The subdivision of Granger Willows is across the street.
