About Odesa
Odesa, sometimes misspelled as Odessa, is a heavily wooded community of 20 custom-built homes in northeast Medina Ohio (Granger Township). Other than the first home built in 1970, residences were constructed from 1996-2008. As of late 2023, there was one lot yet undeveloped.
Homes in Odesa mainly range from 3,000-5,600 square feet with 3-6 bedrooms and 3.5-5 bathrooms.
Inside, homes feature hardwood flooring, two-story foyers with curved or turned staircases, vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, formal living rooms and/or private dens, and laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Kitchens feature granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, center island, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Owner’s suites include walk-in closets and bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) are complete with media rooms, bars, exercise rooms, and stairs to the garage. Homes offer attached 3-4 car side or rear-entry garages with a number of homes also offering detached garages.
Homes in Odesa have well water and septic systems.
Backyards extend living outdoors with maintenance-free decks and or patios and firepits.

Offering the ultimate in wooded privacy, nearly every home is completely enveloped by trees and not visible from the street or its neighbors.
Several small tributary streams to the Rocky River West Branch flow across the community (dashed blue lines on map below), offering rolling topography. See flood information.
