About Lexington Ridge
Lexington Ridge is a community of roughly 205 single-family homes in Medina Ohio (Montville Township) with a pool, playground, clubhouse, and fitness center. Homes were mainly built from 2000-2007.
These two-story homes range from 2,000-3,800 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4 bathrooms.
Inside, homes feature hardwood flooring, two-story foyers with turned staircases, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, formal living rooms, private dens, and laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Great rooms (some are vaulted) with fireplaces are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, pantry, and dinette area or vaulted morning room. Owner’s suites include vaulted or tray ceilings, walk-in closets, and bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) are complete with media rooms, billiard areas, bars, and exercise rooms. Attached garages, most of which are front-entry, accommodate 2-3 cars.
All homes have public water and sewer.
Backyards feature custom patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, and fireplaces or fire pits.
Homesites are either cleared or have wooded backyards and mainly range from .32 to .52 acres.
Other than the homes on the west and north side of Furlong Dr, which abut homes of neighboring subdivisions, the homes of Lexington Ridge are surrounded by 60 acres of common area (designated in yellow on above map), much of it wooded.
This development is accessible from Wooster Pike and Wadsworth Rd via Lexington Ridge Dr. The entrance on Wooster Pike passes through Northampton Highland Estates. The main entrance from Wadsworth Rd is flanked on both sides by landscape beds with shrubs, mature trees, masonry signage, and white split-rail fencing that continues into the community.
The single-family homes of Lexington Ridge encompass homes on Lexington Ridge Dr up to house number 4648, and the cul-de-sac streets of Churchill Way, Derby Dr, Furlong Dr, Pimlico Cir, Secretariat Ct, and Triple Crown Dr. Cul-de-sacs have lovely landscaped islands.
The cluster homes of Steeplechase at Lexington Ridge occupy the eastern end of the community (grayed out on map).
Unlike many of the neighborhood streets in Medina, there are curbs and sidewalks on both sides of the street.
All mailboxes are of the same color and design, bringing uniformity to the streetscape. Further enhancing the beauty of this neighborhood are the tree lawn saplings that line its winding streets.
This neighborhood is serviced by the highly-rated Medina City School District. Homes are conveniently adjacent to H.G. Blake Elementary School (some homes are walkable; all are within a 6 min bike ride).
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees for Lexington Ridge are approximately $320 annually.
Other nearby developments include Fairfax Meadows (on the other side of Wadsworth Rd), Montville Farms, and The Preserve at Trillium Creek.

In addition, you’ll find an abundance of shopping and dining options nearby like Dick’s Sporting Goods, Kohl’s, Target, Lowe’s, and Home Depot as well as Winking Lizard Peninsula, Bomba Taco, Michael Angelo’s Winery, Wasabi Japanese Steakhouse, and more.
Local outdoor recreation amenities are plentiful! Austin Badger Park is 6 min away, which offers outdoor fitness stations, first-class mountain bike trails with ramps and biking accouterments, a coffee shop with mountain bike and snowshoe rental, and miles of paved trails that extend into two adjoining nature preserves. Fred Greenwood Park, with a large pavilion, walking trail, playground, and splash pad is a 6 min drive. It’s 11 min to Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park with green space, two miles of trails, a large playground, fishing pond, and a spacious fenced dog run. Lake Medina is 13 min away for hiking, fishing, canoeing, and cross-country skiing.
There are a number of golf courses accessible in 20 minutes or less including Bunker Hill, Loyal Oak, Pine Valley, Pleasant Valley, Rawiga Golf Club, Ridge Top, and Shale Creek.
