About Glenshire Woods in Medina Ohio
Aptly named, Glenshire Woods is a community of approximately 40 single-family luxury homes with wooded backyards in the City of Medina, Ohio. This subdivision is located 0.3 miles west of Foote Rd, off the north side of E Washington St (Rt 18), and comprises Glenshire Ln and Stoneycreek Cir (sometimes misspelled as Stonycreek).
Glenshire Woods homes were custom-built from 1994-2024. Most older homes have since been updated/renovated.
These ranch and two-story homes mainly range from 2,300-5,900 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5+ bathrooms.
Since homes were constructed by numerous builders over 20 years, principal rooms and amenities may vary. Common features include hardwood or LVP flooring, large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms or private dens, and fireplaced great rooms (some are vaulted) that are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bars, a walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Spacious owner’s suites may include vaulted or trayed ceilings, walk-in closets, and bathrooms with custom tiled walk-in showers, soaking or jetted tubs, and dual sinks/vanities. Second floors may have lofts or bonus rooms. Lower levels (a few are coveted walkouts!) can feature media rooms, bars, wine cellars and/or exercise rooms.
Homes are serviced by public water and sewer.
Attached garages (most are front-entry) accommodate 2-3 cars.
Outdoor living is enjoyed on custom patios and/or composite decks.
Backyard fences, storage sheds, playsets, trampolines, and swimming pools are permitted.
Glenshire Woods homesites are approximately 80′ wide and primarily range from 0.26 to 0.80 acres. There are also a few larger lots up to 2.34 acres.
Lots along the northern and eastern ends of the subdivision have heavily wooded backyards, offering verdant natural beauty, privacy, shade, and soothing birdsong.
The east side of the development abuts 8.72 acres of forested greenspace (yellow parcel on map above) for extended privacy.
Broadway Creek meanders across the north end of Glenshire Lane’s cul-de-sac and just beyond properties along the east end of the development, offering scenic rolling lots. Numerous lots have protected wetlands.
Glenshire Ln and Stoneycreek Cir end in permanent cul-de-sacs enhanced by landscaped islands.
A rarity in Medina neighborhoods, this development boasts curbs, sidewalks and streetlights.
Mailboxes are all the same design and color for a cohesive streetscape.
The neighborhood is serviced by the highly-rated Medina City School District.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees for Glenshire Woods are approximately $170 annually.

Reagan Park is a 4 min drive for ball fields & sport courts, play structures, a skate park, 12 miles bike of trails, and an RC track. Austin Badger Park is 6 min away, which offers outdoor fitness stations, first-class mountain bike trails with ramps and biking accouterments, a coffee shop with mountain bike and snowshoe rental, and miles of paved trails that extend into two adjoining nature preserves. It’s 7 min to Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park with green space, two miles of trails, a large playground, fishing pond, and a spacious fenced dog run. Memorial Park 8 min away offering a large wooden playground that looks like a castle, swings, Frisbee golf, a dog park, and an outdoor public swimming pool.

Private pilots are just 10 min to Medina Municipal Airport.
Golfers will appreciate being 20 min or less from Bunker Hill, Coppertop, Cossett Creek, Pine Hills, Pine Valley, Pleasant Valley, Ridge Top, and Shale Creek.
