Spring Valley is a single-street community of 18 single-family homes in Liverpool Township of Medina, Ohio. This subdivision is located 0.2 miles south of Neff Road off the east side of Columbia Road, comprising the cul-de-sac street of Logans Run.
These homes were built from 2013-2020 by builders including Artisan Building & Design, Legacy Homes of Medina, and Mason Builders.
Homes in Spring Valley range from 2,300-4,200 square feet with 3-4 bedrooms and 3-4.5 bathrooms.
Being that homes were designed by multiple builders, amenities will vary. However, common features include hardwood flooring, large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, garage entryway benches/cubbies, and private dens. Great rooms (some are vaulted) with fireplaces are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, center island, breakfast bar seating, pantry, and dinette area or morning room. Spacious first-floor owner’s suites include, walk-in closets and bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes. Finished lower levels are complete with media rooms, bars, billiard areas, and exercise rooms. Attached front or side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Homes are serviced by public water and sewer.
Backyards feature covered patios or composite decks.
Cleared homesites are approximately 100′ wide and range from 0.46 to 1.06 acres.
Homes are surrounded by 9.5 acres of HOA-owned greenspace, most of it forested (colored yellow on above map), adding natural beauty and privacy.
The entrance to Logans Run is flanked by small landscaped beds with masonry signage. Ornamental trees decorate each side of the street lawn as you enter. The entrance extends roughly 300 feet so that no homes have frontage along the main road.
Spring Valley is not connected to any other subdivision, so traffic is limited to residents and their guests.
As with most neighborhood streets in Medina, there are no curbs or sidewalks along Logans Run.
The neighborhood is served by Buckeye Local School District. The school campus is conveniently 4 minutes south on Columbia Rd.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Spring Valley are approximately $400 annually.
Other nearby developments include Deer Hollow (in Valley City) is across the street.

You are 5 min from the nearly 3-mile crushed limestone Lester Rail Trail, which connects to York Township Community Park with a playground, pond, large pavilion, sledding hill, and an outdoor ice skating area. Mill Stream Park, a 7 min drive, has a play structure, basketball court, pavilion, and a paved 0.7-mile all-purpose trail encircling the park’s meadow. Memorial Park is 13 min away with a large wooden playground that looks like a castle, swings, Frisbee golf, a dog park, and an outdoor public swimming pool. Lake Medina is 15 min away for walking trails, fishing, canoeing, and cross-country skiing. The Medina Community Recreation Center is also 15 min away, which includes a fitness center, a four-lane track, field house with four multipurpose courts, indoor competition pool and leisure pool with play structures and sprays, a whirlpool, and locker room.
Several golf courses are accessible in 10 minutes or less, including Cosset Creek, Bunker Hill, Coppertop, Pleasant Valley, Ridge Top, and Shale Creek.
If you are looking for private club membership, it’s 14 min to Weymouth Country Club, 15 min to Medina Country Club, and 20 min to Fox Meadow Country Club.
