Olde Stone (also called Olde Stone Allotment) is a single-street community of roughly 18 custom-built homes in northeast Medina, Ohio (Granger Township). It is located off the west side of Stony Hill Rd, 0.3 miles north of Wilbur Rd, and comprises Olde Stone Dr and three homes on Stony Hill Rd (house numbers 3686, 3712 & 3736).
Olde Stone homes were built between 1995-2001, with the final homes constructed in 2024.
Homes mainly range from 2,200-5,300 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4 bathrooms.
Inside, homes feature hardwood or LVP flooring, first floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, two-story foyers with coat closets and turned staircases, private dens, formal dining rooms, and vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows that open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, a center island, breakfast bar, tiled backsplash, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Trayed ceiling owner’s suites include walk-in closets and bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels are complete with media rooms, bars, exercise rooms, and stairs to the garage.
Homes are serviced by well water and septic systems.
Side-entry garages accommodate 3-4 cars. Some homes also have detached garages.
Outdoor living is enjoyed on custom patios and/or decks and even swimming pools.
Sheds provide space for storing lawn equipment.
Previously used for agriculture, the landscape featured flat topography and cleared lots offering panoramic country views. Many homeowners have strategically planted trees to offer privacy from neighboring homes.

This neighborhood is serviced by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Olde Stone.

Highways are accessible in 5 min to I-271, 6 min to I-71, 14 min to I-77, and 15 min to I-80/Turnpike.
🔊NOISE: While the proximity to highways is convenient, the east end of the community is roughly 900 feet from I-271, which may subject it to interstate traffic noise.
Summit Mall and shopping center is only 17 min away. Anchored by Dillard’s and Macy’s, it boasts over 125 of your favorite retailers like Apple, J. Crew, Gap, and Vera Bradley as well as the restaurants you crave like First Watch, P.F. Changs and Bravo. Seven min away is Carolyn Ludwig Mugrage Park with family-friendly green space, two miles of trails, a large playground, fishing pond, and a spacious fenced dog run. Just 8 min away is Allardale Park with hiking and equestrian trails, a picnic shelter and indoor lodge. The 150-acre Granger Wetlands Wildlife Sanctuary is just a 5 min drive. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is only 11 min away with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March.
Golfers have a number of golf courses accessible in 20 minutes or less including Hinckley Hills, Pleasant Valley, Ironwood, Briarwood, Bunker Hill, Seneca, and Sleepy Hollow. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 10 min to Weymouth Country Club.
Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 20 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
