Remsen Chase comprises roughly 138 custom-built homes dispersed throughout several unconnected subdivisions in northeast Medina, Ohio (Granger Township), located east of I-271 off Wilber and Ridge Roads.
Residences are served by the highly-rated Highland Local School District (conveniently within a ≤5 min drive), along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.

Below are descriptions for each phase of Remsen Chase.

Ridge Road & Wilbur Road Homes (Phase 1)
Phase 1 includes 29 homes along Wilber Rd and the east side of Ridge Rd. These homes were built between 1987-2006 and mainly range from 2,000-3,200 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4 bathrooms.
Phase 1 homesites range from 2.5 to 20 acres, offering varying landscape with cleared, lightly treed, or partially wooded lots.

Homes have septic systems and either well water or public water (those on Ridge Rd).
Longwood Drive (Phase 2)
Phase 2 includes 23 homes along the cul-de-sac street of Longwood Dr and 2 homes on Wilbur Rd (house numbers 1137 and 1235).
These homes were built from 1987-2003 and range from 2,400-8,300 square feet with 2.5-5 bathrooms.
Phase 2 homesites are sized from 2.6 to 6.6 acres.
Most lots are heavily wooded for maximum privacy.
A tributary to Granger Ditch runs just west of Longwood Dr, offering rolling terrain.
Longwood Dr is bordered to the west by Highland Hills Farm and to the north by Winterberry Estates.
These homes have septic systems and well water.

Sweet Briar (Phases 3-5)
The largest Remsen Chase subdivision is located off the north side of Wilbur Rd, between I-271 and Ridge Rd. It comprises 62 homes along the entrance/main streets of Sweet Briar Dr and W Sweetbriar Dr; the cul-de-sac streets of Walnut Hollow, Westwood Dr, and Woodberry Dr; and a few homes along Wilbur Rd.
These homes were built from 1989-2006 and range in size from 2,200-6,600 square feet with 3-6 bedrooms and 2.5-5 bathrooms.
Lots are sized from 2.3 to 18 acres.
Homesites may be cleared, lightly treed, or partially to heavily forested, offering the ultimate in privacy.

🔊NOISE: I-271 borders the west end of this community, with some homes as close as 0.1 miles, which will experience interstate traffic noise.
Homes are serviced by septic systems and public water, but some homes have water wells.
Forest Drive (Phase 6)
Phase 6 of Remsen Chase is is located off the west side of Ridge Rd and encompasses roughly 17 homes on Forest Dr and 5 homes on Ridge Rd.
These homes were built between 1989-2007 and range from 2,200-7,100 square feet with 3-5 bathrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.
Homesites range from 2.5 to 45 (yes, forty-five!) acres.
Offering maximum privacy, most lots are heavily forested so that homes are not visible from the street or neighboring homes.

Remsen Chase homes are located in northeast Medina, Ohio (Granger Township), east of I-271, off Wilber and Ridge Roads.
Highways are accessible in 5 min to I-271, 10 min to I-71, 12 min to I-77, and 15 min to I-80/Turnpike.
Summit Mall and shopping center is only 15 min away. Anchored by Dillard’s and Macy’s, it boasts over 125 of your favorite retailers like Apple, J. The 150-acre Granger Wetlands Wildlife Sanctuary is off Beachler Rd, just east of Ridge. The Cleveland Metroparks’ Hinckley Reservation is only 8 min away with 2,803 acres including twenty miles of all-purpose trails, bridle trails, a 90-acre lake (Hinckley Lake) with a boathouse for water sport rentals, a beach, swimming pool, two smaller fishing ponds also used for ice fishing and skating come winter, stone carvings at Worden’s Ledges, and its most notable feature–the porous sandstone outcroppings of Whipp’s Ledges. Hinckley Reservation is also home to the annual festival known as Buzzard’s Day, which celebrates the return of the turkey vulture to the area around mid-March. Richfield Heritage Preserve is 14 min away, offering 336 wooded acres with hiking trails that include a portion of the Buckeye Trail, winding streams, two lakes for fishing and non-motorized watersports, and a horse barn with five miles of bridle trails.
Golfers have an array of courses accessible in 20 minutes or less including Hinckley Hills, Pleasant Valley, Ironwood, Briarwood, Bunker Hill, Seneca, and Sleepy Hollow. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, there’s St. Bernard Golf Club and Weymouth Country Club.
Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 23 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
A concert at Blossom Music Center is 25 min away.
