Homes were constructed beginning in 2018. As of early 2024, homes were still being built. Builders include Arthur Rutenberg Homes, Bridgeport Custom Homes, J.E. Moran Builders, KNL Custom Homes, Landmark Homes, Legacy Homes of Medina, Old World Custom Homes, and Windridge Homes.
Bonnie Glen homes mainly range from 4,200-8,000 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 3.5-5.5+ bathrooms.
Inside, homes feature exquisite craftsmanship and high-end finishes, hardwood flooring, two-story foyers with turned staircases, soaring beamed and coffered ceilings, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, private dens with built-ins, large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, mudrooms with cubbies, and second-floor lofts or bonus rooms. Two-story or vaulted great rooms with fireplaces are open to enormous kitchens featuring furniture-quality soft-close cabinets, granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, beverage/buffet area, center island, breakfast bar seating, walk-in chef’s pantry, top-of-the-line appliances, dinette area, and hearth room. Owner’s suites include custom walk-in closets and bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) are complete with media rooms, bars, wine cellars, and exercise rooms. Homes offer attached 3-4 car side or rear-entry garages. A number of homes also have outbuildings or detached garages.
Homes have well water and septic systems.
Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, and fireplaces or fire pits.
Homesites include private wooded lots or raised and cleared lots offering horizon views. Lots are mainly sized from 2.0 to 4.33 acres. Two homes occupy double lots totaling 4.77 and 20.16 acres.
Some parcels have a rolling topography, with the steepest slopes along the southwest and southeastern corners of the development.
There are four ponds, a stream flowing from north to south on the western part of the site, and a few smaller tributaries that drain to the southern section. View flood information.
Directly west is the 78-acre Thomas Currier Nature Preserve (pictured below), which has walking trails. It is part of Blue Heron Park Complex with exercise stations, paved trails, and mountain bike trails.
The entrance street of Bonnie Glen Rd is flanked on the right by a landscape bed with boulders, and on the left by a masonry signage wall.
In addition to Bonnie Glen Rd, this community also includes MacDougall Ln and Oban Ct, each ending in permanent cul-de-sacs.
As with most Medina streets, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Bonnie Glen are approximately $500 annually.
This neighborhood is serviced by the highly-rated Highland Local School District along with bussing to St. Albert the Great School and the prestigious Old Trail School.
