About Arbor Woods in Westlake
Arbor Woods (aka Hilliard Woods Estates No 2) is a single-street cul-de-sac community of 22 brick-front luxury homes in western Westlake, Ohio.

This subdivision is located off the south side of Schwartz Rd, 0.3 miles west of Bradley Rd. It comprises the residential street of Arbor Way and three homes on Schwartz Rd (house numbers 31525, 31571 & 31587).


Homes were primarily built by Lakeland Homes between 1989-1994, with the final home constructed in 2000.
The two-story homes in Arbor Woods range from 3,600-6,000 square feet (including finished basements) with 3-4 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5+ bathrooms.
Homes are styled with Colonial Revival and Tudor architecture, most with full brick facades.
First floors include hardwood or LVP flooring, large laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, dramatic two-story foyers with curved staircases, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms, private dens, vaulted great rooms with fireplaces, and kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, a center islands with breakfast bar, a pantry, and dinette area.
Spacious second-floor owner’s suites feature vaulted ceilings, walk-in closets and en suite bathrooms with dual sinks/vanities, tiled walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, and enclosed commodes.
Finished lower levels may include rec rooms, bars, media/theater rooms, and exercise rooms.
Attached side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Outdoor living is enhanced with custom patios and/or composite decks.
Arbor Woods lots are generously sized, measuring approximately 100′ wide and ranging from 0.35 to 0.74 acres.
Many homesites have private treed or wooded backyards.
The west side of the street abuts a 9.15-acre heavily wooded parcel owned by the Board of Park Commissioners (designated in green on above-illustrated map), extending privacy and arbored views.
Homes along the south end of the cul-de-sac back to common area parcels (yellow sections on map above) with stormwater management ponds.

The entrance to Arbor Way is flanked by landscape beds with stacked stone signage.
Arbor Way is enhanced by lantern-style street lights, street trees, curbs, sidewalks, and a landscaped cul-de-sac island.
With no connection to another community, traffic is limited to residents and their guests.
There are no HOA fees at Arbor Woods.

Arbor Woods subdivision (aka Hilliard Woods Estates Phase 2) is located off the south side of Schwartz, 0.3 miles west of Bradley Road.
This western section of Westlake that borders Avon is a quiet, residential area of high-end single-family home subdivisions nestled amongst parks, pastures and golf courses.
The community is ideally situated 1.9 miles south of I-90 – far enough away to evade interstate congestion and traffic noise, but still accessible in less than 10 minutes.

Fulfill your recreational needs at the nearby Westlake Recreation Center. The 86-acre outdoor complex includes 2 baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, fishing pond with dock, playground, gazebo, picnic area, paved outdoor trail, and plenty of green space for your enjoyment. Inside the facility, there’s a 13,500 square foot fitness room, 2 group exercise rooms, 2 high school-sized regulation basketball courts, cycling studio, elevated rubber running track, and locker rooms with saunas. The indoor aquatics center houses 5 pools including a lap pool, a diving well, a children’s play pool, a lazy river, and slides.
For outdoor swimming during the warmer months, check out the Westlake Aquatic Center located in Clague Park. It offers five bodies of water for all ages: slide plunge pool, lazy river, activity pool, splash pad, and the main pool with diving board, climbing wall and lap area.
Or if you desire a day at the beach, Huntington Beach on Lake Erie is only 14 mins away!
Golfers are less than 15 minutes from an array of courses: 5 min to Hilliard Lakes, 7 min to Meadowood and Red Tail, 9 min to Bob-O-Link Golf Course, 12 min to Sweetbriar, 13 min to Springvale and North Olmsted Golf Club.
There are several clubs nearby: Lakewood Country Club is just to the east on Bradley Rd, Avon Oaks Country Club is 6 min north, and Westwood Country Club is 15 min east.
Boaters will feel right at home at The Cleveland Yachting Club (CYC) – one of the oldest and most prestigious yachting clubs in the nation. Home to more than 300 sail and powerboats, CYC is known for its beautiful setting, first-class facilities and family-friendly atmosphere. CYC is located on its own island at the mouth of Rocky River, nine miles west of downtown Cleveland.
