Westminster is located in eastern Westlake, Ohio, off the west side of Walter Rd, 0.3 miles south of Center Ridge Rd. This eastern section of Westlake near Rocky River offers the trifecta of quick access to I-90, local retail, and numerous nearby parks.

The community is ideally situated 1.3 miles south of I-90 – far enough away to evade interstate congestion and traffic noise, but still accessible in 6 minutes. You are also 10 min to I-480.

Westlake’s top-rated public schools are all nearby: Westlake Elementary, Intermediate, Lee Burneson Middle School, and High School are all a 7-8 min drive.

Westminster is 11 minutes from Crocker Park—the best shopping on the west side of Cleveland—a 75-acre, open-air collection of restaurants, retail, entertainment & leisure. Additional retail and dining is available at Westwood Shopping Plaza and Westgate Shopping Center (7 min) and Great Northern (9 min).

As for nearby parks, there are several. Tri-City (5 min) has ball fields/courses, picnic pavilion, playground, and restroom facilities. Clague Park (5 min), which hosts the city’s 4th of July fireworks display, has ball fields/courts, picnic pavilions, walking trails, a duck pond, and Westlake Aquatic Center, offering five bodies of water for all ages: slide plunge pool, lazy river, activity pool, splash pad, and the main pool with diving board, climbing wall and lap area.

The Metroparks’ Rocky River Reservation is just 10 minutes away, offering 2,520 acres with picnic areas, play areas, sledding hills, ball fields, nature trails, paved trails, nature center, stables and bridle trails, marina, fishing areas, boat rentals, waterfalls and lagoons, and three golf courses.
