About Mallard Cove in Westlake
Mallard Cove is a community of 51 homes in Westlake, Ohio, located off the east side of Bradley Rd, roughly 0.2 miles north of Center Ridge Rd. This subdivision comprises the streets of Mallard Cv, Mallard Cir and Teal Ct, two homes on Greenview Pkwy, and three homes on Carlton Pkwy.

Phases 1 & 2 (Mallard Cir, Teal Ct, and the west end of Mallard Cv) were constructed between 1990-1991 by Shore West Construction. These homes are traditionally styled with full brick accents.
Development of phases 3 and 4 (east end of Mallard Cv and the NE corner) began in 2016 and includes homes built by Garland New Homes and EFG Custom Homes. Facades include modern farmhouse designs.
These colonial homes range from 2,600-5,400 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4 bathrooms.
Common features include hardwood flooring, two-story foyers, laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens. Vaulted or two-story great rooms with fireplaces are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, tile backsplash, breakfast bar seating, pantry, and dinette area. Spacious owner’s suites (newer homes are first-floor) include vaulted or tray ceilings, sitting areas, walk-in closets and bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed commodes. Finished lower levels are complete with media rooms, bars, workshops, and exercise rooms. Attached garages, most are front-entry, accommodate 2-3 cars.
Phase 1 & 2 homesites are treed and range from 0.34 to 0.48 acres. Phase 3 & 4 homesites are cleared and sized from 0.42 to 0.73 acres.
To the northeast is Meadowood Golf Course (designated in green on below above). City-owned land or common land owned by a neighboring HOA are in yellow on the map above.
This neighborhood has curbs, sidewalks, and lantern-style streetlights.
Mallard Cv, Mallard Cir and Teal Ct have cul-de-sacs.
Leroy Rd (off the north side of Carlton Ave) is a dirt access drive to the cell tower roughly 930′ to the north.
Mallard Cove adjoins the subdivision of Hedgewood Estates to the east via Greenview Pkwy, which has its own entrance, Fairway Dr, off Center Ridge Rd. It is also connects the new construction community of Carlton Estates to the northwest via Carlton Ave.
Residences are served by Westlake City School District.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Mallard Cove.
To the south, along Center Ridge Rd, are several businesses, a Goddard School, and the Reserve Townhomes. To the southeast of Mallard Cv cul-de-sac are Fairway Villas Condos.

Mallard Cove is located in the southwest section of Westlake, Ohio, off the east side of Bradley Rd, just north of Center Ridge Rd.
With major highways accessible in 7 min to I-480, and 10 min to I-90 & I-80/Turnpike, this development is ideally located for commuting.
The Metroparks’ Bradley Woods Reservation is a 3 min drive. It offers 828 acres of dense forests, 2+ miles of hiking trails, a walking path surrounding a fishing lake, picnic pavilion, greenspace, and monarch butterfly waystation.
