Chapparal (aka Clusters of Chapparal) is a gorgeous community of 23 detached limited-maintenance cluster-home-style luxury condos in eastern Westlake, Ohio.
This subdivision is located off the east side of Columbia Rd, between Center Ridge and Westwood Roads. It encompasses the residential streets of Chapparal, Chapparal N and Chapparal S (also written as N Chapparal and S Chapparal).


Homes were constructed by Valore Builders from 2001-2018.
Chapparal‘s harmonious streetscape is lined by charming cottage-inspired facades of varying designs constructed with cedar and brick/stone.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Chapparal are approximately $350/month, which includes snow removal, lawn care and landscaping.

Chapparal is located in eastern Westlake, Ohio, off the east side of Columbia Rd, between Center Ridge Rd and Westwood Rd.
This easternmost section of Westlake that borders Rocky River offers the trifecta of quick access to I-90, local retail, and numerous nearby parks.
The community is ideally situated 1.3 miles south of I-90 – far enough away to evade interstate congestion and traffic noise, but still accessible in 6 minutes. It is 10 min to I-480 and 19 min to I-80/Turnpike.
Westlake’s top-rated public schools are all nearby: 6 min to Elementary and Dover Intermediate; 7 min to Lee Burneson Middle School and the High School.
Chapparal is 8 min to Westlake’s state-of-the-art Recreation Center. The 86-acre outdoor complex includes 2 baseball/softball fields, soccer fields, tennis courts, fishing pond with dock, playground, gazebo, picnic area, paved outdoor trail, and plenty of green space for your enjoyment. Inside the facility, there’s a 13,500 square foot fitness room, exercise rooms, high school-sized regulation basketball courts, cycling studio, elevated rubber running track, locker rooms with saunas, childcare, and community/conference/class/craft rooms. The indoor aquatics center houses five pools including a lap pool, a diving well, a children’s play pool, a lazy river, and slides.
Nearby parks include Clague Park (6 min), which hosts the city’s 4th of July fireworks display and has ball fields/courts, picnic pavilions, walking trails, a duck pond, and Westlake Aquatic Center, offering five bodies of water for all ages: slide plunge pool, lazy river, activity pool, splash pad, and the main pool with diving board, climbing wall and lap area. Bradley Woods Reservation is a 13 min drive with 828 acres of dense forests, 2+ miles of hiking trails, a fishing lake with surrounding walking path, picnic pavilion, greenspace, and monarch butterfly waystation.
If you desire a day at the lake, it’s just 13 min to Huntington Beach!
Golfers are less than 15 minutes from an array of courses/facilities including Springvale and North Olmsted Golf Club, Meadowood, Hilliard Lakes, North Ridge Indoor Golf, Red Tail, Mastick Woods, Big Met, and Little Met.
There are several private clubs nearby: 10 min to Westwood Country Club, 13 min to Lakewood Country Club, 14 min to Avon Oaks Country Club, and 15 min to Cleveland Yachting Club.
As for retail, this community is close to both Crocker Park and Great Northern Mall. Great Northern (9 min) and its surrounding plazas feature a wide selection of retail and dining .
