Westlake’s top-rated public schools are all nearby: 15-17 min walk or 3-5 min drive to the High School, Intermediate, and Lee Burneson Middle School; 5 min drive to the Elementary School. 

Carousel Court is just 3 min from Crocker Park—the best shopping on the west side of Cleveland—a sparawling, open-air collection of restaurants, retail, entertainment & leisure. Additional retail and dining is available at Avon Commons.

The indoor aquatics center houses five pools including a lap pool, a diving well, a children’s play pool, a lazy river, and slides.

Golfers are less than 15 min from an array of courses: 6 min to Hilliard Lakes; 8 min to Meadowood; 10 min to Red Tail; 11 min to Springvale and North Olmsted Golf Club; and 12 min to Bob-O-Link Golf Course and Sweetbriar.

There are several private clubs nearby: 7 min to Lakewood Country Club, 9 min to Avon Oaks Country Club, and 12 min to Westwood Country Club.

Boaters will feel right at home at The Cleveland Yachting Club (CYC) – one of the oldest and most prestigious yachting clubs in the nation. Home to more than 300 sail and powerboats, CYC is known for its beautiful setting, first-class facilities and family-friendly atmosphere. CYC is located on its own island at the mouth of Rocky River, nine miles west of downtown Cleveland.
