Village West in Hudson
Village West is a community of 113 homes near historic downtown Hudson, Ohio. These homes were constructed from 1988-2006 by builders including David Moore Builders and MMMC Construction. There is also one home in the center of the development built in 1955. Many homes have since been updated.
Facades include Georgian, cottage, French country, and New England-style colonials.
These colonial homes mainly range from 3,000-4,900+ square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.
Homes are appointed with desirable amenities including 9′ ceilings on the first floor, hardwood flooring, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens with built-ins, sunrooms or screened porches, and first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Vaulted or two-story great rooms with fireplaces and large windows are open to granite or quartz kitchens featuring a center island, breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Vaulted owner’s suites include sitting areas, walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels are complete with theater or media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Homes offer attached 3-5 car side-entry garages.
Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks, gazebos, covered living areas, fireplaces or fire pits, and even in-ground pools.
Homesites range from .36 to .54 acres and most have wooded backyards.
The community is surrounded by 28 acres of greenspace with several ponds owned by the HOA (designated in yellow on above map), to which each home abuts.
There is one entrance off W Streetsboro St via N Westhaven Dr, and two entrances off Boston Mills Rd via Stratford Rd and Prescott Dr. A treeline with white crossbuck fencing runs between the Boston Mills Rd entrances. Entry corners are flanked by lush landscaped beds with stone pavers. The western corner of Prescott Dr has a large pond with a fountain.
In addition to the entrance streets, this subdivision also encompasses Nathan Ct and Jefferson Dr.
This community has treelawn saplings, curbs, and acorn-shaped street lights throughout as well as sidewalks on one side of the street.
Homes have public water and sewer.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Village West are approximately $400 annually.
This neighborhood is serviced by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District.
To the west are the private drives of Summit Villa subdivision. Other comparable nearby communities include The Woods of Williamsburg, located to the southwest on the opposite side of W Streetsboro St.

Village West subdivision is located in central Hudson Ohio (Summit County), roughly .8 miles west of Main St. There are entrances off Boston Mills Rd and W Streetsboro St.
Highways are accessible in 8 min to I-80/Turnpike, 10 min to I-271, and 13 min to I-480.
Located a mile away (and walkable!) in downtown Hudson, First & Main is an upscale retail district with national chain stores along with locally-owned shops and restaurants. First & Main is also home to more than a dozen annual events in the park-like square.
