About Wyndgate Farms in Hudson
Wyndgate Farms (also called Ivy Hill Estates) in northeastern Hudson Ohio, is a community of roughly 47 homes adjacent to forested parkland. Homes were constructed from 1984-1991 by Prestige Homes and Wyndgate Homes.
These colonial and cape cod homes range in size from 1,900-3,400 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5 bathrooms.
Wyndgate Farms homes are appointed with hardwood flooring, foyers with coat closets, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms, first-floor laundry rooms with cabinets, and fireplaced great rooms that are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, dinette area, and sunroom or screened porch. Second-floor owner’s suites include walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels are complete with media rooms, bars, and storage areas. Homes offer attached 2-3 car side-entry garages.
Backyards feature lush landscape beds, paver patios and/or composite decks, and fireplaces or fire pits.
Residences have public sewer and well water.
Wyndgate Farms has generously-sized homesites ranging from .69 to 2.1 acres. Lots around the perimeter of the development are heavily treed, offering the ultimate in privacy.
The southeastern section of this subdivision borders a 98-acre forested parcel owned by Summit County Metro Parks for endless views of nature (parkland is designated in green on above map). Tinkers Creek (Cuyahoga River’s largest tributary) and Hudson Springs flow behind these homesites, offering opportunities for fishing and wildlife viewing.
There are two entrances to Wyndgate Farms, via E Firelands Dr and W Firelands Dr, both off Hudson Aurora Rd. The entrances are flanked on the left side by a landscape bed with burgundy brick signage and ranch-style fencing.
In addition to its entrance/main streets of E Firelands Dr and W Firelands Dr, this development also encompasses the cul-de-sac street of Mayapple Dr and two homes on Hudson Aurora Rd.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Wyndgate Farms/Ivy Hill Estates.
While not connected, Wyndgate Farms is bordered to the southwest by White Horse Acres. Homes do not directly abut each other, as they are separated by forested common area (designated in yellow on map) or parkland.

The subdivision of Wyndgate Farms (also called Ivy Hill Estates) is located in northeastern Hudson Ohio (Summit County) off Hudson Aurora Rd, 0.5 miles east of Stow Rd, just north of I-80/Turnpike.
Highways are accessible in 3 min to I-480, 5 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 15 min to I-271.
This neighborhood is serviced by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District. The High School is a 3 min drive; the main school campus (Early Learning, Elementary, Intermediate, and Middle School) is a 6 min drive.
A number of nearby private schools also serve the community, including Western Reserve Academy (grades 9-12), Seton Catholic School (K-8), and Hudson Montessori School (preschool-8th grade) — each located in Hudson; Old Trail School (preschool-8th grade) in Fairlawn; and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (grades 7-12) in Cuyahoga Falls.
It’s a 5 min drive to First & Main in downtown Hudson, an upscale retail district with national chain stores along with locally-owned shops and restaurants. First & Main is also home to more than a dozen annual events in the park-like square.
