Weston Hills in Hudson

Weston Hills is a community of roughly 49 homes in southeast Hudson Ohio. Homes were constructed from 1990-1994, with the most recent home built in 2014.

These colonial homes mainly range from 2,600-3,900 square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 2.5-5 bathrooms. There is also one home with 5,500+ square feet.

Weston Hills homes are appointed with desirable amenities including hardwood flooring, two-story foyers with turned staircases, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private libraries, large first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, and fireplaced great rooms that are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, pantry, and dinette area. Second-floor owner’s suites include sitting areas/rooms, walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking tubs, and dual sinks/vanities. Full finished lower levels are complete with theater or media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Homes offer attached 2 car garages, the majority of which are front-entry.

Residences have public sewer and public water.

Backyards feature lush landscape beds, specialty patios and/or composite decks, and fireplaces or fire pits.

Lightly treed to wooded homesites mainly range from .43 to .95 acres.

There are two direct entrances: via Weston Dr from Stow Rd, and via Duffield Dr from Norton Rd. Both entrances are flanked on the right side by a landscape bed with brick pillars and signage.

This development encompasses homes along the eastern end of Weston Dr (house numbers 2130 and up), the cul-de-sac streets of Bristol Ct, Brooklands Dr, and Duffield Dr, and three homes on Norton Rd.

Like much of Hudson, this subdivision does not have curbs or sidewalks.

Bordering Weston Hills directly to the north is the 30-acre Oak Grove Park, which offers sports fields, hiking trails, a playground, picnic pavilion, grills, and the much-loved Hudson Jaycees’ annual Halloween Haunted House! There is a direct path from the Duffield Ct cul-de-sac leading to the park. The path continues on to Wood Hollow Metro Park with a 1.2-mile trail and fishing pond.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Weston Hills are approximately $100 annually.

Weston Hills is connected via Weston Dr to the subdivision of Weston Place, which has an entrance on Norton Rd.

The subdivision of Weston Hills is in southeastern Hudson Ohio (Summit County) along the border of Stow. It is located at the northwest corner of Norton and Stow roads, with entrances off each.

Highways are accessible in 12 min to I-480, 14 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 15 min to I-271.

This neighborhood is serviced by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District.

A number of nearby private schools also serve the community, including Western Reserve Academy (grades 9-12), Seton Catholic School (K-8), and Hudson Montessori School (preschool-8th grade) — each located in Hudson; Old Trail School (preschool-8th grade) in Fairlawn; and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (grades 7-12) in Cuyahoga Falls.

It’s a 10 min drive to First & Main in downtown Hudson, an upscale retail district with national chain stores along with locally-owned shops and restaurants. First & Main is also home to more than a dozen annual events in the park-like square.

Shoppers will appreciate being 20 min from Aurora Farms Premium Outlets with 90 outlet stores of the finest brands including Adidas, Ann Taylor, Chico’s, Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, New Balance, Nike, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Under Armour, Yankee Candle and many more.

LifeCenter Plus is just 4 min away, Hudson’s full-service four-season health and fitness facility with strength-training and cardio equipment, five pools including a warm water therapy pool plus an outdoor aquatic center, an indoor track, rock climbing wall, racquetball and pickleball courts, as well as cycling, pilates, yoga and Tai Chi studios.

You are a 3 min drive or 20 min walk to Summit Bike and Hike Trail (Silver Springs Trailhead), which offers 34 miles of trails past the Cuyahoga Valley National Forest and through Summit, Cuyahoga and Portage counties.

Barlow Farm Park, a 5 min drive, offers 60-acres with six soccer fields, four ball diamonds, approximately 2 miles of multipurpose trail, pavilions, grills, and playground equipment.

The 280-acre park Silver Springs Park in Stow is just a 6 min drive with playgrounds, a dog park and beach,  lit tennis and basketball courts, baseball and softball fields, outdoor picnic shelters, and 1.6 miles of unpaved hiking and cross country trails.

The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park is just 14 min away, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

Golfers are only 5 min to Fox Den Golf Course, 6 min to Raccoon Hill Golf Club, and 8 min to the city-owned golf club, Ellsworth Meadows. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, it’s 13 min to Hudson Country Club and Lake Forest Country Club.

Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 19 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
