Oak Point Commons in Hudson
Oak Point Commons is an established community of roughly 41 single-family homes in northwest Hudson Ohio. These homes were built from 1996-2005 by builders including Comstock Homes, MMMC Builders, Morgan Gregory Homes, and Prestige Homes.
Homes are mostly colonial, but there are a few cape cod and ranch homes as well. Oak Point homes mainly range from 4,400-5,500+ square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 3.5-5.5 bathrooms.
Homes are appointed with desirable amenities including hardwoodl flooring, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens with built ins, sunrooms, and laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Oversized great rooms with fireplaces and large windows are open to granite or quartz kitchens featuring a center island, breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Fist or second-floor owner’s retreats include sitting areas, walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) are complete with theater or media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Homes offer attached 3-4 car side-entry garages.
Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks, gazebos, covered living areas, and fireplaces or fire pits.
Homesites range from .48 to 1 acre and each is heavily wooded. A number of homes abut wooded preserve land owned by the HOA (yellow parcels on above map). Homes that do not back to HOA-owned common land back to wooded preserve land owned by the neighboring communities.
There are two entrances to this subdivision via Ridgewood Blvd and Westpoint Dr, both off Boston Mills Rd.
There are curbs throughout this subdivision and sidewalks on one side of the street. Acorn-shaped streetlights throughout the community provide illumination at night.
Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Oak Point Commons are approximately $150 annually.
This neighborhood is serviced by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District.
To the east is Laurel Lake Retirement Community. To the west is the development of The Reserve at River Oaks.

Oak Point Commons subdivision is located in northwest Hudson Ohio in Summit County. The community is off Boston Mills Rd, roughly 1.2 miles east of Chittenden Rd/OH-8.
Highways are accessible in 6 min to I-80/Turnpike, 8 min to I-271, and 15 min to I-77.

Golfers are only 9 min from the city-owned golf club, Ellsworth Meadows. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 3 min to Lake Forest Country Club and 10 min to Hudson Country Club.
