Bridgewater Place in Hudson

Bridgewater Place is a community of 88 homes nestled against parkland, community greenspace, and nearby access to biking/hiking trails.

This development features colonial homes that were constructed from 1988-1998 by builders including Georgetown Builders and Prestige Homes. The majority of homes have since been updated/renovated.

Homes range from 2,600-5,800+ square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.

Facades include Tudor, transitional/soft contemporary, Georgian, Greek revival, and New England styles. Most front elevations are constructed with aluminum or vinyl siding, but there are some full brick fronts as well.

Inside, these homes are appointed with desirable amenities including hardwood flooring, two-story foyers with open staircases, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms, private dens, screened porches, and first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Great rooms with fireplaces are open to granite or quartz kitchens featuring a center island, breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, pantry, and dinette area. Owner’s suites (most are second floor) include walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, and dual sinks/vanities. Full finished lower levels are complete with media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Homes offer attached 2-3.5 car side-entry garages.

Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks and fireplaces or fire pits.

Homesites mostly range from .43 to .93 acres. Nearly every lot is heavily wooded and/or backs to wooded parkland or community common area. Being that this is an established subdivision, many homes also have mature trees in the front yard, providing shade and privacy from the street.

This development is surrounded by more than 50 acres of greenspace owned by the HOA, much of it wooded (designated in yellow on map below). Bordering to the northwest is 120 acres of parkland that includes Mud Lake for fishing Largemouth bass, Crappies, and Bluegill.

There are two entrances to this development from Terex Rd: Bersham Dr and Bridgewater Blvd. The main entrance on Bridgewater Blvd is flanked on either side by curved brick walls with lantern-topped pillars. There is a divided median in the center of the street with a landscaped island housing signage between brick lantern-topped pillars. White four post ranch-style fencing runs along the front of the community bordering the main road.

In addition to the entrance streets, this subdivision also encompasses Fortrose Cir, Bridgewater Cir, Oldham Way, Londonairy Cir, and the homes on Londonairy Blvd up to Southwicke Ct.

This community has no curbs or sidewalks.

Homes have well water and public sewer.

It is serviced by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Bridgewater Place are approximately $150 annually.

Bridgewater Place is connected to the subdivision to the northwest, Westbridge Crossing, via Londonairy Blvd, which has entrances on Terex Rd and W Streetsboro St.

Bridgewater Place subdivision is located in western Hudson Ohio (Summit County), one mile west of Main St.

Highways are accessible in 8 min to I-80/Turnpike, 9 min to I-271, and 11 min to I-480.

Located within a 7 min drive in downtown Hudson, First & Main is an upscale retail district with national chain stores along with locally-owned shops and restaurants. First & Main is also home to more than a dozen annual events in the park-like square.

Six min away is LifeCenter Plus, Hudson’s full-service four-season health and fitness facility with strength-training and cardio equipment, five pools including a warm water therapy pool plus an outdoor aquatic center, an indoor track, rock climbing wall, racquetball and pickleball courts, as well as cycling, pilates, yoga and Tai Chi studios.

The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park is only 8 min away, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

Just .7 miles southeast on Barlow Rd is access to Summit Metro Parks’ 34-mile Bike & Hike Trail (via Barlow & Terex Trailhead), with connections to additional regional trails.

Golfers are only 4 min from the city-owned golf club, Ellsworth Meadows. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 8 min to Lake Forest Country Club and 13 min to Hudson Country Club.

Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 12 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.

A concert at Blossom Music Center is 15 min away.
