Woods of Westbrook in Hudson
Woods of Westbrook is a lovely treelined community of 30 homes constructed from 1997-2004 by Hersh Construction (John Hershberger).
The facades of these colonial homes are full vinyl or accented with brick or stone. They range from 2,900-5,500+ square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 3.5-4.5 bathrooms.
Inside, you’ll find two-story foyers with turned staircases, hardwood flooring, formal dining rooms with tray ceilings, formal living rooms and/or private dens with built-ins, and first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and large windows are open to granite or quartz kitchens featuring a center island, breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, walk-in pantry, dinette area, and sunroom. Second floor owner’s suites include vaulted or tray ceilings, walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in shower, soaking tub, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatory. Full finished lower levels are complete with theater or media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. All homes have attached 3-car side-entry garages for maximum curb appeal.
Backyards feature lush landscaping, custom patios, covered living areas, and firepits.
Homesites mainly range from .44 to .81 acres with lightly to heavily wooded backyards. There are also two lots with 1.5+ acres and two lots upon 2+ acres.
The eastern side of this subdivision backs to parkland that abuts Maple Grove Park, which offers 100-acres with a mile-long walking/running trail meandering through woods, wildflowers and wetlands. Maple Grove Park is accessible at the end of Farnham Way via the connected subdivision of Ashbrooke to the north.
There is one entrance to Woods of Westbrook from Walters Rd via Westbrook Way. On the right side of the entrance is a landscaped bed with stacked stone signage.
This development also includes one home on Walters Rd, the cul-de-sac streets of South Way and Curry Cir, and seven homes on Burntwood Way. Afterwhich, the homes belong to the Ashbrooke subdivision to the north.

Woods of Westbrook is located in the northwest corner of Hudson Ohio (Summit County) near the border of Macedonia and Boston Heights. The community entrance is off Walters Rd between E Twinsburg Rd and E Hines Hill Rd.
Highways are accessible in 8 min to I-271 and I-80/Turnpike, and 10 min to I-480.
It’s an 8 min drive to First & Main in downtown Hudson, an upscale retail district with national chain stores along with locally-owned shops and restaurants. First & Main is also home to more than a dozen annual events in the park-like square.
Thirteen min away is LifeCenter Plus, Hudson’s full-service four-season health and fitness facility with strength-training and cardio equipment, five pools including a warm water therapy pool plus an outdoor aquatic center, an indoor track, rock climbing wall, racquetball and pickleball courts, as well as cycling, pilates, yoga and Tai Chi studios.
The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park is only 5 min away, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
Golfers are only 13 in from the city-owned golf club, Ellsworth Meadows. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 7 min to Hudson Country Club and Lake Forest Country Club.
Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are an 11 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
