The Woods of Williamsburg near historic downtown Hudson Ohio is a community of 174 homes nestled against community greenspace, parkland, and a golf course.

The center of this community encircles a 32-acre parcel of heavily forested wetland preserve owned by the HOA. Bordering this development to the east is wooded land belonging to the 75-acre Cascade Park with direct access to 1.5 miles of picturesque trails walking trails from Nicholson Dr. The park also has a stream with waterfalls that flow into a natural peat bog, a playground, three ball diamonds, picnic pavilion, and full-court basketball. To the south of the park is Ellsworth Meadows Golf Club. To the west of the development is 120 acres of parkland that includes Mud Lake for fishing Largemouth bass, Crappies, and Bluegill.

This development features colonial homes constructed from 1990-2014 by builders including Hudson Builders, Jeffrey L. Henry, and Slifko Homes. Many homes have since been updated/renovated. They mainly range from 3,000-5,200+ square feet with 3-7 bedrooms and 2.5-5 bathrooms.

Facades include traditional, Victorian-inspired, Greek revival, Georgian, and New England styles.

Homes are appointed with desirable amenities including hardwood flooring, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms, private dens, sunrooms or screened porches, and first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Vaulted or cathedral ceiling great rooms with fireplaces are open to granite or quartz kitchens featuring a center island, breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, and dinette area. Owner’s suites include walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, and dual sinks/vanities. Full finished lower levels are complete with media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Homes offer attached 2-3 car front or side-entry garages.

Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks and fireplaces or fire pits.

Homesites mostly range from .44 to 1.8 acres, but there are a few lots with 2+ acres. The majority have wooded backyards or back to wooded parkland or the forested community preserve. Premium lots include wooded yards and those around any of the eight cul-de-sacs.

Homes have well water and public sewer.

There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at The Woods Of Williamsburg.

There are two entrances to this development off W Streetsboro St. The main entrance on Independence Dr is flanked on either side by lovely landscaped beds with brick pillars and white two rail fencing. A second entrance on Nicholson Dr is located just west of Independence Dr. Both entrances have divided medians with landscaped islands.

In addition to the entrance streets, this subdivision also encompasses Alisa Ct, Heritage Ct, Jamestown Ct, Laurawood Ct, Laurawood Ln, Leslie Dr, and Union Dr.

This community has no curbs or sidewalks.

It is serviced by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District.

The Woods of Williamsburg is connected to Williamsburg Colony, the subdivision to the south via Nicholson Dr, which has an entrance on Barlow Rd.

Other comparable subdivisions nearby include West Village, located to the northwest on the opposite side of W Streetsboro St.

The Woods Of Williamsburg subdivision is located in southwest Hudson Ohio (Summit County), roughly 1.3 miles west of Main St.

Highways are accessible in 8 min to I-80/Turnpike, 12 min to I-271, and 13 min to I-480.

Located 2 miles away in downtown Hudson, First & Main is an upscale retail district with national chain stores along with locally-owned shops and restaurants. First & Main is also home to more than a dozen annual events in the park-like square.

The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park is only 9 min away, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

Directly east of this development is the city-owned golf club, Ellsworth Meadows. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 6 min to Lake Forest Country Club and 10 min to Hudson Country Club.

Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 13 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
