Country Club Estates in Hudson
Country Club Estates in northern Hudson Ohio is a community of 67 homes with direct access to Darrow Road Park.
Homes in Country Club Estates were built from 1979-1984 with the final home built in 1992. Builders include Ken Payne. Most homes have since been updated.
Facades are styled as Georgian, Tudor, New England, and transitional/soft contemporary styles. Most front elevations aref full vinyl but there are some partial or full brick fronts (with a few also offering full brick surround).
Homes include colonial, cape cod, and contemporary floorplans and mainly range from 2,800-5,000 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5+ bathrooms.
Homes are appointed with desirable amenities including two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood flooring, multiple fireplaces, extensive millwork, specialty ceilings, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens with built-ins, mud halls with built-ins, and laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Vaulted or two-story great rooms with fireplaces and large windows are open to granite or quartz kitchens featuring a center island, breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, walk-in pantry, dinette area, and sunroom. Vaulted owner’s suites (most are second floor) include sitting areas, walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) are complete with theater or media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Homes offer attached 2-4 car side-entry garages for maximum curb appeal.
Backyards feature professionally designed gardens, patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, pergolas or gazebos, fireplaces or fire pits, water features, and even in-ground pools.
Homesites range from .61 to 1 acre. Many homes have wooded backyards.
The southwest side of the community abuts the woods of the 60-acre Darrow Road Park for endless views of nature. Nature and fitness enthusiasts will appreciate its 1.25-mile walking trail. An entrance to the trail is off Lascala Dr across from its intersection with Leeway Dr.
The entrance on Lascala Dr from Middleton Rd is flanked on the left side by a landscaped bed with wooded three rail ranch-style fencing and community signage.
Country Club Estates includes most homes on Lascala Dr (excluding three on the south end), two homes on Middleton Rd, four homes on Leeway Dr, four homes on Woodacre Dr, five homes on Edgeview Dr, and all homes on Cypress Point Dr, Lacosta Dr, and Tamarisk Ct.
Residents enjoy annual social events like the autumn chili cook-off, summer social, block party, and Christmas party.
This community does not have curbs or sidewalks.
Residences have public sewer and well water.
This neighborhood is serviced by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District. A number of private schools also serve the community, including Western Reserve Academy (grades 9-12), Seton Catholic School (K-8), and Hudson Montessori School (preschool-8th grade) — each located in Hudson; Old Trail School (preschool-8th grade) in Fairlawn; and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (grades 7-12) in Cuyahoga Falls.

The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park is just 10 min away, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.
Golfers are only 10 min from the city-owned golf club, Ellsworth Meadows. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 3 min to Hudson Country Club and 9 min to Lake Forest Country Club.
