Examples Of Homes In Natures Preserve

Natures Preserve in Hudson

The aptly named Natures Preserve in northeast Hudson Ohio (Twinsburg Township) is a community of roughly 105 homes surrounded by nature preserve and parkland. These homes were built exclusively by Ryan Homes from 2012-2016.

With cleared lots and houses in clear view from the street, the community has an open feel to it.

The majority of homes in this development back to protected conservation land or parkland, which will never be developed.

Being that these homes were constructed by a single builder, the complimentary facades bring an architectural symmetry to the community. Front elevations include full vinyl and partial or full brick/stone.

Ryan offered five semi-customizable floorplans in Natures Preserve including ranch and colonial styles. Homes range in size from 3,000-6,200 square feet with 3-6 bedrooms and 2.5-5 bathrooms.

They are appointed with desirable amenities including open-turned staircases, 9′ first-floor ceilings, hardwood flooring, extensive millwork, formal dining rooms, private dens and/or formal living rooms/flex rooms, mudrooms or mud halls with built-ins, first or second-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs, and second-floor bonus rooms. Great rooms with fireplaces (some are vaulted or two-story) are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, 42” cabinets, recessed lights, pantry closet, dinette area and/or morning room. Owner’s retreats (first or second-floor) with a vaulted or tray ceiling include sitting areas, walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels (some are walkout or garden view!) are complete with media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Homes offer 2-3 car front or side-entry garages.

Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, and fireplaces or fire pits.

Homesites include cleared lots ranging from .22 to .65 acres. Nearly every home backs to parkland (to the east), or the community’s 79 acres of common area and protected conservation land that will never be developed (designated in yellow on map below), offering lush natural views.

This community also includes a playground, picnic grove, and several ponds.

There are two entrances to this development Amelia Dr off Ravenna Rd, and Natures Preserve Dr off Old Mill Rd. The main entrance on Natures Preserve Dr is flanked on either side by large landscape beds with staggered stone and masonry signage. From this entrance, you’ll have the opportunity of viewing adorable alpacas along the left side of the street.

The majority of homes encompass Megan Meadow Dr. This subdivision also includes the cul-de-sac street of Vitale Ct.

This lovely community has tree lawn saplings, acorn-shaped streetlights, curbs, and sidewalks on both sides of the street throughout (a rarity in Hudson!).

Residences have public sewer and public water.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Natures Preserve are approximately $350 annually.
