Winston Manor in Hudson

Winston Manor is a tennis and swim community of 147 homes in northern Hudson Ohio. These homes were built from 1988-2002 by builders including Brad Dillman, David Moore, Franklin & Associates, and MMMC.

These colonial, cape cod and ranch homes mainly range from 2,400-6,700 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 3-5 bathrooms.

Homes are appointed with desirable amenities including two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood flooring, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms or private dens, sunrooms or screened porches, and laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets. Vaulted or two-story great rooms with fireplaces and large windows are open to granite or quartz kitchens featuring a center island, breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, walk-in pantry, and dinette area. Owner’s suites include walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with tiled walk-in showers, soaking tubs, and dual sinks/vanities. Full finished lower levels (some are coveted walkouts!) feature theater or media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Homes offer attached 2-3.5 car side-entry garages.

Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, fireplaces or fire pits, and even in-ground pools.

Homesites range from .38 to .99, most of which are wooded. There is also one home on 1.4 acres.

Nine homes along the western side of the subdivision have water views surrounding Blackberry Pond.

Brandywine Creek flows through the back lot of five homes on Brandwine drive, offering ravined views.

Recreational amenities are located in the northwest corner of the development off Ambrose Dr.

There are three direct entrances to Winston Manor: Brandywine Dr has entrances off N Main St and W Prospect St; Steepleview Dr has an entrance off W Prospect St.

The development also encompasses the streets of Ambrose Dr, Great Oak Dr, Pitkin Dr, Tanager Dr, and one home on W Prospect St (house number 293).

This lovely community has curbs, tree lawn saplings, matching black and white mailboxes, acorn-shaped streetlights, and sidewalks on one side of the street.

Residences have public water and public sewer.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Winston Manor are approximately $550 annually.

This neighborhood is serviced by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District.

Winston Manor is connected to the neighboring community to the south, Hudson Hills, via Blackberry Dr.

Winston Manor subdivision is located in northern Hudson Ohio (Summit County) between W Prospect St and Valley View Rd.

Highways are accessible in 10 min to I-480, and 12 min to I-271 and I-80/Turnpike.

It’s just a 4 min drive to First & Main in downtown Hudson, an upscale retail district with national chain stores along with locally-owned shops and restaurants. First & Main is also home to more than a dozen annual events in the park-like square.

Nine min away is LifeCenter Plus, Hudson’s full-service four-season health and fitness facility with strength-training and cardio equipment, five pools including a warm water therapy pool plus an outdoor aquatic center, an indoor track, rock climbing wall, racquetball and pickleball courts, as well as cycling, pilates, yoga and Tai Chi studios.

The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park is only 9 min away, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

Golfers are only 9 in from the city-owned golf club, Ellsworth Meadows. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 5 min to Hudson Country Club and 7 min to Lake Forest Country Club.

Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 14 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
