Pine Trails in Hudson

Pine Trails in northeastern Hudson Ohio is a community of 37 homes built from 1990-2004 by builders including Comstock, David Moore Builders, Dillman Construction, and Schmidt M.T. Construction.

Front elevations include full vinyl and partial or full brick/stone. A few homes even boast full brick surround.

The majority of homes Pine Trails are colonial, but there are some ranch styles as well. Homes range in size from 3,000-5,000 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.

They are appointed with desirable amenities including foyers with open-turned staircases, 9′ first-floor ceilings, hardwood flooring, extensive millwork, custom built-ins, multiple fireplaces, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private dens, first-floor laundry rooms with cabinets and utility tubs, and second-floor bonus rooms. Great rooms with fireplaces are open to granite or quartz kitchens featuring a large center island with breakfast bar seating, tile backsplash, and dinette area. Owner’s retreats (first or second-floor) include sitting areas, walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels are complete with media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Homes offer 3 car side-entry garages for maximum curb appeal.

Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks, covered living areas, and fireplaces or fire pits.

Homesites range from .69 to 2.1 acres. Nearly every home has a heavily treed backyard. Being an established community, mature trees adorn the front and side yards of many homes, offering both shade and privacy.

There are two streets in this development, each with an entrance off a main road: Pine Trails Cir off Stow Rd, and Spruce Ln off Ravenna Rd. The entrance on Pine Trails Cir is flanked on the left side by a small landscape bed with community signage; a large pond flanks the right side.

Also included in this subdivision is the undeveloped stub street of Pine Trails Ln.

Streets do not have curbs or sidewalks.

Residences have public sewer and public water.

There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Pine Trails.

This neighborhood is serviced by both Twinsburg City and Hudson City School Districts (see excerpt below).

The subdivision of Pine Trails is in northeastern Hudson Ohio (Summit County) near the border of Twinsburg Township. It is located between Stow and Ravenna roads, with entrances off each.

Highways are conveniently accessible in 5 min to I-480 (borders the southwest side of the development), 7 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 16 min to I-271.

This neighborhood is serviced by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City and Twinsburg City School Districts. Residences that attend Hudson schools include Pine Trail Cir house numbers 2873, 2876, 2881, 2884, 2905, 2919, 2927, 2933, 2947, 2953 & 2959, as well as Spruce Ln house numbers 3015 & 3025.

Private schools serving the community include Western Reserve Academy (grades 9-12), Seton Catholic School (K-8), and Hudson Montessori School (preschool-8th grade) — each located in Hudson; Old Trail School (preschool-8th grade) in Fairlawn; and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (grades 7-12) in Cuyahoga Falls.

Shoppers will appreciate being 10 min from Aurora Farms Premium Outlets with 90 outlet stores of the finest brands including Adidas, Ann Taylor, Chico’s, Coach, Kate Spade, Michael Kors, New Balance, Nike, Saks Fifth Avenue OFF 5TH, Under Armour, Yankee Candle and many more.

It’s also a 10 min drive to First & Main in downtown Hudson, an upscale retail district with national chain stores along with locally-owned shops and restaurants. First & Main is also home to more than a dozen annual events in the park-like square.

Tinker’s Creek State Park and Nature Preserve are 5 min away, offering a lake and several ponds for fishing or boating, 5+ acres of trails, cross-country skiing, picnic areas, a picnic pavilion, volleyball and horseshoe courts, and a playground.

About 7 min away is Hudson Springs Park with 260 acres, a 50-acre stocked lake for fishing or boating, 2.2 miles of shaded trails encircling the water, picnic pavilions, a disk golf course, horseshoe courts, volleyball courts, bocce ball court, and a playground.

You are 11 min from Summit Bike and Hike Trail (Silver Springs Lot Trailhead), which offers 34 miles past the Cuyahoga Valley National Forest and through Summit, Cuyahoga and Portage counties.

The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park is just 14 min away, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

Golfers are 13 min from the city-owned golf club, Ellsworth Meadows. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, it’s 5 min to Hudson Country Club and 13 min to Lake Forest Country Club.

Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 19 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.
