Williamsburg Colony, near historic downtown Hudson Ohio, is a community of 79 homes nestled against parkland and a golf course.

Bordering the eastern side of this development is a narrow treed parcel with a trail that leads north to the 75-acre Cascade Park. There is direct access to trail just north of the community from Nicholson Dr and also from Barlow Rd, about 200 feet east of the entrance on Nicholson Dr. The park also has a playground, three ball diamonds, picnic pavilion, full-court basketball, and a stream with waterfalls that flow into a natural peat bog. Just east of the trail is the city-owned golf club, Ellsworth Meadows.

This development features colonial and cape cod homes that were constructed from 1987-2004 by builders including Comstock, Prestige Homes, and Wagler. Most homes have since been updated/renovated.

These homes mainly range from 2,300-4,500 square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5 bathrooms.

Facades include traditional, Georgian, Victorian-inspired, Greek revival, and New England styles.

Homesites mostly range from .42 to 1.6 acres. Most lots are lightly treed, but there are some with heavily wooded backyards or backing to wooded parkland.

There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Williamsburg Colony.

There are two entrances to this development from Barlow Rd via Nicholson Dr and Williamsburg Cir. The entrances are flanked on either side by landscaped beds with brick pavers and white picket fencing.

In addition to the entrance streets, this subdivision also encompasses Virginia Dr, the cul-de-sac street Virginia Ct, and seven homes on Barlow Rd.

This community has no curbs or sidewalks.

It is serviced by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District.

Williamsburg Colony is connected to the subdivision to the north, The Woods of Williamsburg, via Nicholson Dr, which has two entrances on W Streetsboro St.

Other comparable subdivisions nearby include West Village, located to the northwest on the opposite side of W Streetsboro St.

Williamsburg Colony subdivision is located in southwest Hudson Ohio (Summit County), one mile west of Main St.

Highways are accessible in 8 min to I-80/Turnpike, 12 min to I-271, and 13 min to I-480.

The 33,000-acre Cuyahoga Valley National Park is only 9 min away, which includes the Cuyahoga River and numerous waterfalls, the 87-mile Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail, and the Cuyahoga Valley Scenic Railroad.

Directly east of this development is Ellsworth Meadows. If you’re looking for social membership and golf, you’re 6 min to Lake Forest Country Club and 10 min to Hudson Country Club.

Boston Mills and Brandywine Ski Resorts are a 13 min drive for skiing and tubing during the winter months.

A concert at Blossom Music Center is 15 min away.
