Winterberry Heights is a community of 114 single-family homes in northeastern Hudson, Ohio, across from Ellsworth Hill Elementary.
This subdivision is located off the north side of Middleton Rd, 0.2 miles west of Stow Rd. It comprises the streets of E Blackthorn Cir, W Blackthorn Cir, Bridgeton Dr, Ellsworth Hill Dr, Princewood Dr, Webster Cir, Winterberry Dr, the east half of Brunswick Ln (house numbers 2580-2707), and the east half of Easthaven Dr (house numbers 2591-2744).


These homes were built from 1979-1990.
Facades are styled with complementary New England-style architecture, including Colonial Revival and Tudor Revival designs, creating a cohesive streetscape. Most front elevations are constructed of full vinyl, but some have full brick or brick/stone accents.
The two-story homes in Winterberry Heights range from 2,300-4,100 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5 bathrooms.
They are appointed with desirable amenities including front entry foyers with coat closets (some are two-story), hardwood or LVP flooring, first-floor laundry rooms with cabinets, formal dining rooms, private dens and/or living rooms, and fireplaced great rooms that open to updated kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, a pantry, dinette area, and even screened porches or 4-season rooms. Owner’s suites (most are second-floor) include walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with showers and/or soaking tubs. Full finished lower levels (a few are walk-outs!) may include rec rooms, bars, billiard areas, exercise rooms and/or storage areas. Attached front or side-entry garages accommodate 2-4 cars.
Residences are serviced by public sewer and public water.
Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks.
Generously sized lots offer approximately 150′ of street frontage and are sized from 0.65 to 0.88 acres.
Most lots offer varying degrees of tree cover, ranging from lightly treed to heavily treed.
The topography of the development is mainly flat, with some gentle sloping.
In the center of the subdivision is a 6.2-acre parcel of common area (yellow plot on above-illustrated map) that is owned by the HOA.

The entrance to Winterberry Dr is designated by a landscape bed with community signage.
E Blackthorn Cir, W Blackthorn Cir, Easthaven Dr, Ellsworth Hill Dr and Webster Cir have cul-de-sacs.
As with most established Hudson neighborhoods, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
To the west, Brunswick Ln and Easthaven Dr adjoin the subdivision of North Haven, which has its own entrance off Middleton Rd.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Winterberry Heights.

The subdivision of Winterberry Heights is located in northeastern Hudson, Ohio (Summit County), off the north side of Middleton Rd, 0.2 miles west of Stow Rd.
Highways are conveniently accessible in 7 min to I-480, 9 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 14 min to I-271.
🔊NOISE: The northeast corner of this development is roughly 565 feet from I-480, which may subject it to interstate noise pollution.
This neighborhood is served by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District. Ellsworth Elementary (across the street) is walkable in less than 15 min.
Private schools serving the community include Western Reserve Academy (grades 9-12), Seton Catholic School (K-8), and Hudson Montessori School (preschool-8th grade) — each located in Hudson; Old Trail School (preschool-8th grade) in Fairlawn; and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (grades 7-12) in Cuyahoga Falls.

You are 11 min from Summit Bike and Hike Trail (Silver Springs Lot Trailhead), which offers 34 miles past the Cuyahoga Valley National Forest and through Summit, Cuyahoga and Portage counties.
