About Dillman Estates in Hudson
Dillman Estates is a community of 25 homes in northeastern Hudson, Ohio, conveniently around the corner from the high school. This subdivision is located off the south side of Hudson Aurora Rd, 0.2 miles east of Stow Rd, comprising Dillman Dr, four homes on Ashton Dr, and one home on Hudson Aurora Rd (house number 2756).


The first home was constructed in 1967, and the rest of the homes were custom-built from 1977-1985 by Dillman.
Homes are styled with Colonial Revival, Dutch Colonial Revival and Greek Revival architecture.
These colonial and ranch homes range in size from 2,400-4,200 square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5 bathrooms.
Dillman Estates homes are appointed with hardwood flooring, foyers with coat closets, large principal rooms, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private libraries, first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, and fireplaced great rooms adjacent to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, a breakfast bar, tile backsplash, dinette area, and sunroom or screened porch. Spacious owner’s suites include walk-in closets and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking/jetted tubs, dual sinks, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels are complete with media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Residences have public sewer and well water.
Backyards feature lush landscape beds, paver patios and/or composite decks, and fireplaces or fire pits.
Homesites measure approximately 150′ wide and range from 0.68 to 1.8 acres. There is also one home on 6.7 acres.
Lots along the northern half of the community are lightly treed to partially wooded. Those along the southern half are heavily wooded, offering the ultimate in privacy, lush natural beauty, shade and soothing birdsong.
This development also includes is a 2.2-acre wooded parcel owned by the township (designated in yellow on above map).

Another tributary of Tinkers Creek flows across the south end of the street.
Dillman Estates is also accessible through the adjoining subdivision of White Horse Acres to the east, which also has an entrance off Hudson Aurora Rd, or through Stonebridge of Hudson to the west, which has an entrance off Stow Rd.
As with most Hudson communities, there are no curbs or sidewalks.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at Dillman Estates.
Other nearby subdivisions include Western Reserve Ranch Estates (across the street).

The subdivision of Dillman Estates is in northeast Hudson, Ohio (Summit County), located off the south side of Hudson Aurora Rd, 0.2 miles east of Stow Rd, just north of I-80/Turnpike.
Highways are accessible in 4 min to I-480, 7 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 17 min to I-271.
This neighborhood is served by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District. The High School is a 3 min drive or less; the main school campus (Early Learning, Elementary, Intermediate, and Middle School) is less than a 6 min drive.
A number of nearby private schools also serve the community, including Western Reserve Academy (grades 9-12), Seton Catholic School (K-8), and Hudson Montessori School (preschool-8th grade) — each located in Hudson; Old Trail School (preschool-8th grade) in Fairlawn; and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (grades 7-12) in Cuyahoga Falls.
It’s a 6 min drive to downtown Hudson’s First & Main, an upscale retail district with national chain stores along with locally-owned shops and restaurants. First & Main is also home to more than a dozen annual events in the park-like square.
Shoppers will appreciate being 10 min from Aurora Farms Premium Outlets with 50+ outlet stores of the most popular brands.

You are 10 min from Summit Bike and Hike Trail (Silver Springs Trailhead), which offers 34 miles of trails past the Cuyahoga Valley National Forest and through Summit, Cuyahoga and Portage counties.
