The Woods of Williamsburg is a community of 174 homes in southwest Hudson, Ohio, nestled against community greenspace, parkland, and a golf course.
This subdivision is located roughly 1.3 miles west of Main St, off the south side of W Streetsboro St. It comprises the streets of Alisa Ct, Heritage Ct, Independence Dr, Jamestown Ct, Laurawood Ct, Laurawood Ln, Leslie Dr, the northern half of Nicholson Dr (house numbers 5751-6170), four homes on Union Dr (excluding the cul-de-sac), and three homes on W Streetsboro St (house numbers 398, 412, 466 & 474).


This development features colonial homes constructed from 1990-2014 by builders including Hudson Builders, Jeffrey L. Henry, and Slifko Homes.
Homes range from 3,000-5,200+ square feet with 3-5 bedrooms and 2.5-4.5+ bathrooms.
Facades include New England-style architecture including Colonial Revival, Federal, Georgian Revival, Greek Revival, and Neo-Colonial/transitional designs.
Homes are appointed with desirable amenities including hardwood flooring, first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms, private dens, sunrooms or screened porches, and fireplaced great rooms with vaulted or cathedral ceilings that are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, a center island, breakfast bar, tile backsplash, and dinette area. Full finished lower levels are complete with media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Attached front or side-entry garages accommodate 2-3 cars.
Homes have well water and public sewer.
Backyards feature patios and/or composite decks and fireplaces or fire pits.
Homesites primarily range from 0.44 to 1.8 acres, but there are a few lots with 2+ acres.
Most lots have lightly treed or partially to heavily wooded backyards, offering privacy, shade, lush views, and soothing birdsong.
The site has varied, gently rolling topography.
A drainage ditch leading westward to Mud Brook runs along the rear property line of homes along the south end of Alisa Ct, and those between Alisa Ct and Nicholson Dr, where there are riparian setbacks.
The center of this community encircles a 32-acre parcel of heavily forested wetland preserve owned by the HOA (yellow section on above illustrated map).
The easternmost end of this development abuts parkland or Ellsworth Meadows Golf Club. Nicholson Trail runs parallel to the east end of the community and leads north to the 75-acre Cascade Park. The trail is accessible off the east side of Nicholson Dr, between 5825 & 5835 Nicholson Dr, and 5905 & 5915 Nicholson Dr. Cascade Park has three ball diamonds, a playground, picnic pavilion, full basketball court, ice skating, a stream with waterfalls that flow into a natural peat bog, and a 3/4-mile wooded nature trail.
Just beyond the west end of the subdivision is 120 acres of undeveloped parkland that includes Mud Lake for fishing Largemouth bass, Crappies, and Bluegill.

The entrances to Independence Dr and Nicholson Dr have divided medians with landscaped islands. The main entrance on Independence Dr is also flanked by lovely landscaped beds with a masonry signage wall, brick pillars and white two rail fencing.
Alisa Ct, Heritage Ct, Jamestown Ct, Laurawood Ct, Laurawood Ln and Leslie Dr have cul-de-sacs. The Alisa Ct, Laurawood Ct and Laurawood Ln cul-de-sacs are enhanced by grassed or landcaped islands.
As with most Hudson neighborhoods, this community has no curbs or sidewalks.
There are no Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at The Woods Of Williamsburg.
The Woods of Williamsburg adjoins Williamsburg Colony to the south via Nicholson Dr, which extends to Barlow Rd.
Other comparable subdivisions nearby include West Village, located to the northwest on the opposite side of W Streetsboro St.

The Woods Of Williamsburg is located in southwest Hudson, Ohio (Summit County), off the south side of W Streetsboro St, roughly 1.3 miles west of Main St.
Highways are accessible in 8 min to I-80/Turnpike, 12 min to I-271, and 13 min to I-480.
Residences are served by the nationally acclaimed Hudson City School District.
A number of private schools also serve the community, including Western Reserve Academy (grades 9-12), Seton Catholic School (K-8), and Hudson Montessori School (preschool-8th grade) — each located in Hudson; Old Trail School (preschool-8th grade) in Fairlawn; and Cuyahoga Valley Christian Academy (grades 7-12) in Cuyahoga Falls.
Located 2 miles away in downtown Hudson, First & Main is an upscale retail district with national chain stores along with locally-owned shops and restaurants. First & Main is also home to more than a dozen annual events in the park-like square.
Five min away is LifeCenter Plus, Hudson’s full-service four-season health and fitness facility with strength-training and cardio equipment, five pools including a warm water therapy pool plus an outdoor aquatic center, an indoor track, rock climbing wall, racquetball and pickleball courts, as well as cycling, pilates, yoga and Tai Chi studios.
