White Horse Acres is a wooded community of 60 homes in northeast Hudson, Ohio with greenspace and adjacent parkland. This subdivision is located 0.4 miles east of Stow Rd, off the south side of Hudson Aurora Rd, and comprises the streets of Blaikley Dr, Chippendale Dr, Hayward Rd and Huntington Rd, as well as three homes on Hudson Aurora Rd.

Homes were constructed from 1953-1984 and have since been updated.

Homes feature architectural styles of Colonial Revival, Dutch Colonial Revival, Greek Revival and Queen Anne.

These colonial, cape cod, and ranch homes range in size from 2,500-4,500 square feet with 4-5 bedrooms and 2.5-3.5+ bathrooms.

White Horse Acres homes are appointed with hardwood flooring, foyers with coat closets, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms and/or private libraries, large first-floor laundry rooms with utility tubs and cabinets, and fireplaced great rooms that are open to kitchens featuring granite or quartz countertops, a breakfast bar, tile backsplash, dinette area, and sunroom or screened porch. Second-floor owner’s suites include walk-in closets, and en-suite bathrooms with walk-in showers, soaking tubs, dual sinks, and enclosed lavatories. Full finished lower levels are complete with media rooms, kitchenettes, bars, exercise rooms, and storage areas. Homes offer attached 2-3 car side-entry garages.

Residences have public sewer and well water.

Backyards feature lush landscaping, paver patios and/or composite decks, pergolas or gazebos, and fireplaces or fire pits.

Homesites measure approximately 150′ wide and range from 0.58 to 1.6 acres.

Most lots (particularly the southern section) are heavily wooded, offering the ultimate in privacy, natural beauty, shade and soothing birdsong.

The neighborhood has varied topography, from flat to gently rolling.

⚠️Wagar Ditch flows westward across the north end of the development, and another tributary of Tinkers Creek flows near the southwest end, presenting scenic rolling or ravined topography. This subdivision includes 15 acres of the common area (designated in yellow on map above) with a large pond.

The southeastern section borders a 98-acre parcel owned by Summit County Metro Parks and a 5-acre strip bordering the turnpike owned by Hudson Parks for endless views of nature (parkland is designated in green on above map).

The entrance to Huntington Rd is flanked by landscaped beds with curved burgundy brick signage walls and white three-rail fencing that extends across the front of the community.

Blaikley Dr and Chippendale Dr have the cul-de-sacs.

As with most Hudson subdivisions, there are no curbs or sidewalks.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees at White Horse Acres are approximately $144 annually.

White Horse Acres adjoins the subdivision of Dillman Estates to the west, which also has an entrance off Hudson Aurora Rd.

Wyndgate Farms (also called Ivy Hill Estates) is to the northeast.

The subdivision of White Horse Acres is located in northeastern Hudson, Ohio (Summit County) off the south side of Hudson Aurora Rd, 0.4 miles east of Stow Rd, and just north of I-80/Turnpike.

Highways are accessible in 4 min to I-480, 7 min to I-80/Turnpike, and 15 min to I-271.
