Westwood Farms in Strongsville, Ohio is a family-friendly, master-planned recreational community built by Parkview Custom Homes between 1995-2019.

Homes consist of colonial single-family homes and free-standing low-maintenance cluster homes available as ranch or cape cod styles.

Westwood Farms single-family colonial homes offer 3,100 to 6,100+ square feet of living space, with 4–5 bedrooms and 2.5–4.5+ bathrooms. Homes are appointed with desirable amenities including tray ceilings, dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood and ceramic flooring, two-story or vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows, formal dining rooms, formal living rooms, private dens, first-floor laundry, first-floor in-law suites, and second-floor lofts/bonus rooms. Kitchens feature center islands, breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dinette and/or sunroom. First or second-floor owner’s suites have walk-in closets and glamour baths with separate walk-in showers and soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Finished lower levels (some are coveted walk-outs!) have bars, kitchens/kitchenettes, media/theater rooms, and exercise rooms. Homes offer 2-3 car attached garages, some of which are side-entry. Single-family homesites range from .33 to .58 aces, available as premium wooded and cul-de-sac lots. Backyards include custom patios and/or decks, pergolas, and even fire pits.

Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fees for single-family homes are approximately $550 annually.

Ranch or cape cod limited-maintenance cluster homes range in size from 1,500 to 4,100 square feet, with 2–3 bedrooms and 2–3.5 bathrooms. Homes are appointed with dramatic two-story foyers with open staircases, hardwood and ceramic flooring, two-story or vaulted great rooms with fireplaces and floor-to-ceiling windows, formal dining rooms or private dens, first-floor laundry, and second-floor lofts/bonus rooms. Kitchens feature breakfast bar seating, walk-in pantry, and dinettes. First-floor owner’s suites have walk-in closets and glamour baths with separate walk-in showers and soaking tubs, dual sinks/vanities, and enclosed lavatories. Clusters are available with full basements (some are coveted walk-outs!) or slab foundations. These homes have 2-car front-entry garages. Homesites range from .12 to .39 acres, available as wooded or cul-de-sac premium lots. Backyards feature custom patios or decks.

In addition to the $550 annual Homeowner’s Association (HOA) fee, cluster residents pay an additional $110 monthly maintenance fee for landscaping and snow removal.

There are several sub-HOAs governing the cluster subdivisions: Bristol Pointe at Westwood Farms, Bristol Pointe North at Westwood Farms, Greystone Pointe at Westwood Farms, Weston Pointe at Westwood Farms, and Woodberry at Westwood Farms.

Centrally located within Westwood Farms is a recreation area exclusive to residents and their guests. Homeowners enjoy a rentable clubhouse with a full kitchen and a gas fireplace that can accommodate up to 70 people, an outdoor swimming pool, playground, lighted tennis and basketball courts, picnic area, a stocked country pond, and greenspace.

The community hosts several events including ice cream socials, block parties, Easter egg hunts, and a 4th of July bike parade.

There are three direct entrances to the development: the main entrance off Prospect Rd via Greenfield Pl, and two off of Westwood Dr via Country Way and S Churchill Way.

Westwood Farms is also accessible from Albion Rd through the adjoining communities of Still Meadow (encompasses the northern portion of Fox Grove, Northwood Trl, Yarrow Pl, and Yarrow Trl) via Fox Grove, and through Meadowood (encompasses the northern part of Shagbark Trl, Briar Bush Ln, Meadows Edge Ln, and Timber Oak Ct) via Shagbark Trl.

Westwood Farms also encompasses homes along the streets of Bristol Ln, Brookfield Pl, Calumet Cir, Coopers Run, Countryside Dr, Derby Ct, Fairfield Pl, Fieldstone Pt, the southern part of Fox Grove, Greystone Pt, Harvest Oval, Horseshoe Ln, Mulberry Cir, Paddock Cir, Saddle Horn Cir, Saddlebrook Ln, Scenic Pt, the southern part of Shagbark Trl, Spruce Pt, Steeplechase Ln, Weston Pt, Woodberry Ln, Woodfield Trl, and Woodview Cir.

Westwood Farms is located in northwest Strongsville, near the border of Columbia Station. The subdivision is south of Albion Rd, off Prospect Rd and Westwood Dr.

The land where Westwood Farms is currently located was once Strongsville Airpark (a small airport), which operated from the 1950s through 1987.

Highway access is ideal, with I-80/Turnpike and I-71 just 12 min away.

SouthPark Mall and Strongsville’s bustling retail sector is just a 12-min drive.

The Ehrnfelt Recreation and Senior Center is 8 min away, offering residents a pool, sauna, steam room and whirlpool, massage therapy, ball courts, indoor elevated track, weight and exercise room, and game area with pool tables, ping pong, video games, air hockey and more.

As for parks, Strongsville has nine city parks with ball courts/fields, playgrounds, picnic areas, pavilions, and trails.

There’s also Mill Stream Run Reservation 8 min away, part of Cleveland Metroparks, where visitors can engage in hiking, horseback riding, archery, ziplining, axe throwing, and tobogganing at The Chalet on the tallest, fastest toboggan ice chutes in Ohio.

If you’re a golfer, it’s just 8 min to Royal Crest and Hickory Nut, and 10 min to Columbia Hills golf courses.

It is within the Strongsville City School District.
